After their humiliating 999th defeat, Charlie Brown's whole baseball team quits on him. All seems lost...until Charlie Brown learns that his team can join the Little League and become an official team with real uniforms! But as the team's enthusiasm sparks, Charlie Brown learns that neither girls nor Snoopy would be allowed to play. Charlie Brown faces the difficult decision of breaking this horrible news to his excited team.

Peppermint Patty is in zealous training for a figure skating competition, but with no help from her grumpy coach, Snoopy. He growls coaching tips that don't make sense, and Marcie can't sew the dress Peppermint Patty is dying to wear. Still determined to win, Peppermint Patty turns to Woodstock when disaster looms at the competition.

The gang looks back on their trip to summer camp when the boys found themselves outnumbered and hopelessly defeated when competing with the girls. The boys recall how in great desperation they brought out "The Masked Marvel" -- Snoopy in disguise -- who challenges Lucy to a wrist-wrestling contest.

Linus is instantly taken with a cute blonde girl named Janice, who has enrolled at the neighborhood school. Needless to say, his heart falls as Janice is diagnosed with leukemia. As Janice loses her hair from chemotherapy, Linus challenges his classmates' narrow-minded attitudes towards her illness...while Snoopy tackles the role of "World's Greatest Surgeon." For decades, Why Charlie Brown, Why? has helped children to understand what happens when someone they love is sick.

Watching a football game on television, Charlie Brown spots his one true love in the stands. But he becomes crushed to realize he'll never see her after the game ends! Desperate to find her, but too nervous to even speak, Charlie Brown enlists Linus to do the talking when they finally track her down. Will this decision backfire in the end?

No one is struggling more in school than Charlie Brown. Swamped with homework and too many tests, his scores are plummeting from A to F. The only way to salvage his grades is by writing a killer essay on the class field trip to the art museum. But as Charlie Brown and his friends confuse the art museum with a supermarket next door, his only hope is to write his report truly "from scratch"!

A motorcross, a race of motorbikes through a series of obstacles, sets the stage for Charlie Brown's latest attempt to win at something. At the whim of his run-down clunker of a bike, and wearing a makeshift pumpkin helmet, Charlie Brown stays surprisingly focused as his opponents are eliminated one by one. Closing in on the finish line with only Peppermint Patty and the mysterious Masked Marvel in sight, will Charlie Brown finally taste sweet success?

When the circus comes to town, Snoopy is curious to see what it's all about. Quickly falling in love with a beautiful poodle performing there, he is literally snatched up into the excitement. He becomes "Hugo the Great," but life isn't perfect in the traveling tent. While Charlie Brown worries about Snoopy, Hugo the Great faces some harsh realities of show business himself.

Woodstock's fancy new nest vanishes one night, and he turns to Snoopy for help. Under the guise of Sherlock Holmes, Snoopy stalks the trail of the sneaky culprit. Can Sherlock live up to his reputation? For as Linus points out: "Ashes to ashes, dust to dust. When there is a mystery, in Snoopy we trust."

Snoopy overdoses on Charlie Brown's pizza and dreams he's part of a gruff Alaskan bobsled team. Stuck in treacherous conditions and in even tougher company, Snoopy is forced to "flip the switch" and calls his own shots with the other sled dogs. But as he leads the sled through cracked ice and screams in desperation, Snoopy awakens relieved that it was all just a nightmare.

When the gang loses patience with Snoopy's mischief, he suddenly finds himself back in obedience training. Escaping to Peppermint Patty's house, Snoopy overstays his welcome, and Charlie Brown drags him home...on a leash. With a vengeance, Snoopy decides it's time to run away to Peppermint Patty's for good, but soon realizes life might not be so bad with Charlie Brown after all.

Devastating news strikes, as Linus and Lucy must move away. Their father has been transferred to a job in a new city; life just won't be the same. The gang says goodbye and the moving truck pulls away...but will the van Pelts really be gone for good?
