When Tom hears news of an abduction he makes a beeline for the crime scene. After a frosty reception from DI Vedder, Tom sees DCI Jane Burr and tries to convince her that the Crow, a notorious killer, is back and that the partner of the missing woman is in danger.

The search for Julie Delaney intensifies. But Tom and Sam have to deal with a restless John Channing and an emotional Dani. It initially raises eyebrows that John has the headspace to be running his business under such intense, sensitive circumstances. However, it’s when John steals away to meet a dodgy looking mate in a car park that Tom really begins to worry.

Sam confronts Tom and he finally comes clean about his real reasons for leaving the Police force. When Sam finds out the explosive truth her image of the man she loves will change completely. But will she be able to forgive Tom for all his lies?
About this show
"Tom and Sam's world is turned upside down when news breaks of a shocking crime. Years previously Tom investigated a series of abductions perpetrated by an assailant known as "The Crow", who took wives away from husbands as they helplessly watched. On hearing breaking news of a crime bearing the same hallmarks Tom heads to the crime scene, revealing to the police that terrifyingly he believes "The Crow" is active again."
