The quality of this show started to go down after season 3. The only characters left on the show now that don't bore the hell out of me are Bonnie, and Enzo. Couldn't get into Steroline very much because irritates me that the show would throw her with Stefan instead of giving her a fresh love inteterest, and same goes for Stefen. Damon just gets on my nerves anymore, and Alaric is ok for a supporting character. Season 8 is going to be the last season, and it's about time it ends. It has ran it's course..

This show is in my top 10 I just hate the fact that nobody got a good ending except for Elena, It was completely unfair and heartbreaking. Matt should have died he was the most annoying character and wasn't even making the show interesting he was just ✨There✨, and I STRONGLY believe that Caroline and Stefan never should have gotten together AT ALL. Stefan should have married Valarie I didn't really ship it but they would have been good together. Caroline should have been with Klaus period.

If you like vampire shows I would recommend watching all the way through season 4. You get to watch the best characters of the show then the originals they are so cool for sure. But as soon as they leave you get the same boring love triangle storyline that really starts to get on your nerve and then bam you just can't watch.
