About this show

Based on the 1995 Terry Gilliam film, 12 Monkeys is a high-stakes race against the clock that follows the journey of a time traveler (Stanford) from the post-apocalyptic future who appears in the present day on a mission to locate and eradicate the source of a deadly plague that will eventually decimate the human race.

Easily one of the best TV shows I've ever watched. The acting, set design, CGI, everything is just superb. An interesting soundtrack with the main theme "I am the Clock" giving me chills every time I hear it play. There's an absurd level of planning that must have went into making every episode feel impactful and interlinked, with throwbacks to off-hand lines or background effects multiple seasons after the fact. I'm left with this paradoxical feeling of wishing there were another 4 seasons (at least!), while being so happy they didn't drag it out and instead gave us a satisfying and well deserved ending. I'd recommend this show to anyone looking to get into sci-fi, and hold it up as the standard of what can be achieved with a committed cast and talented screenwriters.

One of the greatest slow burn sci-fi shows I've ever watched. Makes you wish there there were 12 seasons 3 movies and 18 novels.

Purchased season 4. Where are all of the episodes? !?! They have all been released in US by July in batches - so whats the delay?!!!! 😣😯 can you provide release date info please!!!! 6th of July! thats when the last episodes, no 10 & 11 were released. You could at least provide a release schedule for those of us that purchase a whole season. wont purchase pre release from google play again >( Could have saved my money and bought the dvd
