Insulting to the Borden family To make out Lizzie to be some kind of mass murder is very insulting to those who know of the case and to those who are related to the Borden's . Lizzie was acquitted due to lack of evidence and shoddy police work. Also those who are familiar with the case know there is no possible way she did it. I use to love Lifetime but no longer watch it because of shows like this.

Lizzie Borden was acquited, but the world didn't believe the verdict, perpetuating a belief that she got away with murder. That's why we continue to see movies that portray Lizzie Borden as the monster killer. That's why the poem about her is still well-known. It's almost like the murdered won't let it rest. They want to punish Lizzie for eternity with this ugliness about her and her life that is exaggerated and never-ending. Enjoyed it though!

I wasn't thrilled with the movie it didn't have enough suspense to keep me on the edge of my seat like other scary movies.
