Let me start by saying that I love the original Blacklist -- It is an exceptional show. Now, that being said, the spin-off "Redemption" has nothing to do with the original show except the Tom Keene character. The show itself is absolute trash. Shame on NBC and Jon Bokenkamp for trying to pawn off this awful show in the name of The Blacklist. I even think that James Spader is embarassed.

Love the outline of the spin-off from The Blacklist. Some of the less important details, like background news anchors are clearly lower budget or they're just stiff. But each episode is action packed with original stories like the original show.

This show is nothing like the blacklist. It's more buddy and comical with a mix of seriousness. The acting is good but the writing is bad.
