Series premiere. Returning home following his arrest in the finale of series one, Ross prepares for his trial in Bodmin as Demelza and Elizabeth try to help his cause, but George Warleggan does everything in his power to harm him. Bodmin is overwhelmed with crowds when the court case takes place due to the county election. George visits Ross in jail again and has an offer to make. Ross makes an unsettling discovery involving Jud. Meanwhile, Ross's cousin Francis is consumed with guilt and wrestles with his conscience, and Dwight clashes with an entitled heiress, Caroline Penvenen. 2015 ITV

Meanwhile, Dwight attempts to diagnose an epidemic in Sawle and receives help from an anonymous benefactor. Verity meets her husband's daughter, who is clearly not her biggest fan. Ross and George fight after George makes a revelation involving Francis. Demelza continues her thrift by venturing out to fish whilst heavily pregnant - against Ross's advice - with risky consequences. 2015 ITV

Caroline returns to Cornwall to make an announcement, but it is Elizabeth who reveals a great secret with an honest admission to Ross at Ray's dinner party at Killewarren. The new pump engine is unveiled at Grace and gives renewed hope to Ross and Demelza's mining endeavour, but the Warleggans make a discovery that poses a new threat. George attempts to finally crush Ross and begs Elizabeth for help with Francis. Sparks fly between Dwight and Caroline upon her return. Captain McNeil grows suspicious of Ross. Disaster strikes at the new mine, with devastating consequences. Ross rides to Trenwith on a mission after receiving unwelcome news, where sparks fly between him and Elizabeth. 2015 ITV

With Elizabeth wrestling with a life changing decision, Demelza's world has been turned upside down; and Ross and Demelza's relationship turns sour as Demelza wrestles with her conscience. George rides to Trenwith in an attempt to ensure that his plans are not usurped. Tonkin has an invitation for Ross in Truro. Elizabeth finally faces the facts and makes a huge decision. A welcome discovery at the mine is good news for Ross, while Demelza uncovers news of a new resident at Trenwith; news she must break to Ross gently. 2015 ITV

Series finale. After hearing new information about Caroline, Dwight enlists in the navy in an attempt to forget her. When Demelza visits Verity to spend time apart from Ross, Ross decides to make amends and moves to mend the rift between Caroline and Dwight. Elizabeth has news of her own for George as the couple settle into married life, while George's plans provoke the locals to riot. Meanwhile, Demelza finds herself in hot water, but is met with new hope after a heart-to-heart with Ross. 2015 ITV
