It's Le Carre ( David Cornwall) even TV cannot spoil it. This time though, they did it proud. Awesome casting and production. Laurie brilliant as a villain. Supports all good. Tom H a !little overrated?

Watched this in a binge over a couple of days. I would say it's probably 3 hours too long for what it's trying to say. In episode 3 there is a cringe worthy coincidence which de-rails any credibility built up so far. It's downhill from there and the finale is predictable and a bit pathetic. Olivia Colman is terrific though.

Rivetting and intriguing from start to finish. The storyline, cast, production and locations are absolutely stellar. Do yourself a huge favour and download this brilliant series asap! Since I downloaded this excellent series I have learned that Tom Huddleston is one of the front runners to become the new James Bond. Because he did a brilliant job in the night manager, how can the makers of 007 resist. They would certainly be fools to turn him away.
