Nichols and Stevens also come into conflict with

Atwater (Adam Trese), a fellow detective from Field's precinct who sees their presence as an intrusion on his turf. How far will these dancers go to achieve their dreams?

Several years later Danny's out of prison, trying to put his life back together when his friends return to pressure him into restarting their old business. 16 Three In One
7/6/10
The body of successful real estate agent Hildy Glazer (Joanne Baron) is discovered bled out in the basement of an empty building. The odd assortment of clues point Nichols (Jeff Goldblum) and Stevens (Saffron Burrows) in several different directions. A painter's truck was spotted at the scene of the abduction, belonging to a man named Andy Quinn (Tom Lipinski). Before Hildy's disappearance, she was examined by an abrasive doctor, Maynard Curtis (Tom Lipinski). But most disturbing are the images on the walls - images painted in blood that forensics claim were drawn by a young child. Driven by that terrible implication, Nichols develops a theory of how these three seemingly unrelated people are connected. But to prove it, he's forced to consult with the most unlikely expert: Doctor Theodore Nichols (F. Murray Abraham), his father. Their relationship is shaky at best, but they'll have to work fast; another innocent has just been kidnapped.

About this show

Created and executive produced by Emmy winning producer Dick Wolf, Law & Order: Criminal Intent veers from the traditional format by taking viewers into the minds of its criminals. The police procedural mystery series integrates a unique psychological component allowing viewers an up close and personal look into the criminal justice system. Detective Robert Goren (Vincent D'Onofrio, "Men in Black", "The Cell"), is an exceptionally bright homicide investigator with well-honed instincts that match up favorably with his criminal quarry. His partner, Detective Eames (Kathryn Erbe, "Oz"), is a strong woman whose stylish edge meshes well in tandem with Goren. Overseeing the Major Case Squad is their Commanding Officer, Captain Deakins (Jamey Sheridan, "Shannon's Deal"), a competent and ambitious political animal who knows how to survive and thrive behind the scenes. All of them often butt heads with no-nonsense AssistantDistrict Attorney Ron Carver (Courtney B. Vance, "The Tuskegee Airmen", "The Preacher's Wife"), who is a stickler for the crucial legal details.

I love this show and it is the best of the Law and Order actor combinations, although Mariska and Chris (and IceT and Munch) of SVu are close. CI doesn't have the original law and order format of half crime solving and half court procedural. I don't much like the original's court hearings and back and forth, so CI is more focused on the police investigating and solving the case and so theres more focus on D'Onofrio and Erbe' chatacters detective skills and this makes it different, better.

One of the best shows that has been on tv in my life time according to a very intelligent lady ,me 😉 . Seriously I am like most of the people who posted here in the fact that I would still be watching it now were it still on and written by the same person with the same two detective acting in it. I also have watch the shows several times each. And there are only three different series that i watch reruns in now days because there is no reason to with so much to choose from. So see I love it.
