1 The Short Game
1/20/15
Contrasting parenting and coaching styles are on display as 7-year-old phenom Chloe takes on her friend and rival, Morgan. Meanwhile, to the great frustration of his father, Bryce struggles with his focus as he prepares for a tournament, and Bryant goes for a record 8 straight tournament wins.
2 The Short Game
1/27/15
At the Starburst Tournament in Waco, Texas, Sachin takes on his rival, Awesome, while his dad tries to keep him focused on the game. Awesome and his family are more worried about consistency and bringing his weight up. Their family lacks the funds of many of the competitors, so they put everything they have into helping him succeed. Meanwhile, 7-year-old Avery and her dad are preparing for the same tournament, where Avery will be battling girls two to three years her senior. Not that she's worried. She decides to dress in all black to “pay her respects” to the doomed competition, giving her an edge unless her attitude—or a looming thunderstorm—gets in the way.
3 You Gotta Be Better

Self-taught prodigy Max puts too much pressure on himself in the California State Championship, things get tense between Bryant and his dad on the course, and Avery sees the effects of her bad attitude when she watches tape of her last tournament.
4 What Competition Is
2/10/15
With dad away, Sachin's mom fills in as caddy, hoping that her gentler approach will be just what Sachin needs as he takes on his rival Awesome. Meanwhile, Awesome's father pushes him hard to try to motivate him. And at the Ocean Breeze Tournament, Morgan and Madison go head to head while their fathers employ contrasting coaching styles of their own.
5 Mental Lapse
2/17/15
At the U.S. Kids Golf Texas State Invitational, Awesome fights burn out, Sachin tries to bounce back from a poor performance, and Avery takes on her greatest competition as she tries to defend her title: herself.
6 Huggies
2/24/15
With Pinehurst just around the corner, Morgan can't get out of her head. Meanwhile, Chloe experiences pain in her hip, and Bryant tests his independence in a tournament that doesn't allow caddies.
7 I'm Almost Too Prepared
3/3/15
Sachin gets a special blessing from his family, Bryant's independence becomes an issue with his dad, and a freak accident derails Awesome's plan to practice early at Pinehurst.
8 Golf Enemies

It's day 1 at the World Championships at Pinehurst, where Awesome gets a big surprise.
9 We Just Got Away with Murder

I absolutely love this show as an avid golfer and just a girl playing on my high school team! It really displays how much practice is needed to be okay or good at a single part of the game! The only problem I have with the show is some of the parents treatment towards their child. A child at that age needs to be encouraged and not discourged by their parent and by the "bad" shot their child had. Everyone who plays golf remembers the point where they started and how hard they had to work to get better.

I watched The Short Game "film" on Netflix and liked the idea of them creating a show to expand on it. Of course I love golf, so I'm always looking for more golf related content and this especially hits home since I recently had my first child and hope that he takes up the game someday. Some of the parents in this show disgust me the way they treat their kids on the golf course. This is one of those things you can watch and learn what NOT to do when getting your child into golf. Golf is supposed to be fun and some of these parents take the competition too far. With all that being said, it is great to watch the show and see these kids compete at a high level.
