This show just isnt funny. It tries so hard to be but I personally don't get the humour. I find it too obvious and the characters are irritating. Also kayley cuacos acting is atrocious. Plus what a rip off don't waste your money. And comparing it to friends is ridiculous friends was in a completely different league to this friends was actually funny, every episode had something funny for thw audience characters were well structured as were storylines and the acting wasnt terrible unlike this.

As with all US sitcoms they, IMHO, don't know when to stop. At the start the characters and their interactions were fresh and innovative, but as they have agreed to more seasons the additional characters have just turned this into a poor man's Friends. I still enjoy the first 3 seasons but after that they tend to be remarkably forgettable. Is it really right that the main stars get $500k per episode now?

I'm clearly in the minority here and will no doubt be subjected to abuse by the zealots but I'm going to say it anyway... This. Show. Is. Just. Not. That. Funny. Why? Putting aside the fact that the humour simply doesn't click with me, the characters are stupidly stereotyped, the stories uninteresting and it doesn't seem to change any after flicking forward a few series to see if it improves (I don't give up on shows lightly).
