Season 6 Part 1 episodes (12)

1 To Market, to Market
6/22/03
Season-only
In the Season Six premiere, Carrie believes her 'stock' has gone up, thanks to her hot date with new flame Jack Berger. Meanwhile, Miranda faces her true feelings about Steve, Charlotte is dismayed by Harry's refusal to marry a non-Jew, and Samantha bemoans the gentrification of her area until a new neighbor begins eliciting moans of another tenor.
2 Great Sexpectations
6/29/03
Season-only
Despite some steamy public foreplay with Jack, Carrie discovers it's a lot colder between the sheets. Meanwhile, Samantha introduces the girls to a raw foods restaurant that features some hot 'takeout' (the waiter), Miranda compares Steve to her new love (TiVo), and Charlotte considers converting to Judaism.
3 The Perfect Present
7/6/03
Season-only
Carrie visits Berger's apartment for the first time and discovers his 'ex-file.' Charlotte sacrifices pieces of her past as the day of her official conversion to Judaism approaches; a diaper-bag discovery forces Miranda to deal with the reality of Steve's new relationship; and in a bit of role-reversal, Samantha 'waits' on Jerry the waiter.
4 Pick-a-Little, Talk-a-Little
7/13/03
Season-only
Carrie and Berger articulate their sentiments for each other, but then she offends him. Meanwhile, Charlotte gets so carried away preparing her first Sabbath dinner for Harry that she drops the (matzoh) ball; Miranda is liberated by Berger's perspective on dating and men; and Samantha revels in role-playing fantasies with Jerry.
5 Lights, Camera, Relationship
7/20/03
Season-only
Carrie is surprised to find that Berger is cool with a trip to her favorite designer haunt, but cold when it comes to a sudden success. Charlotte begins for the first time to imagine a future without a man as 'not sad'; Miranda has an unplanned overnighter with Steve; and Samantha uses her PR magic on struggling actor Jerry.
6 Hop, Skip, and a Week
7/27/03
Season-only
Carrie finds herself conflicted about her new relationship as Berger reveals more of his emotional limitations. Meanwhile, Charlotte has become the hot prospective daughter-in-law within the synagogue's Sister Society; Miranda is worried that the demands of her career are keeping her from Brady; and Samantha's new PR creation gets hot.
7 The Post-It Always Sticks Twice
8/3/03
Season-only
Carrie goes to a hot new club in an attempt to get over 'Post-It traumatic stress' caused by Berger. Charlotte claims that everything happens for a reason, even failed marriages; Miranda is ecstatic about fitting into her skinny jeans; and Samantha tries to dress her man in designer labels, but doesn't want him to 'label' her.
8 The Catch
8/10/03
Season-only
Carrie considers the idea that a true 'catch' may ultimately be having a strong safety net to catch you when you fall. Charlotte has an important photo taken for the 'New York Times,' but things are not picture-perfect; Miranda hides at the thought of meeting Steve's girlfriend Debbie; and Samantha extols the merits of 'expiration dating.'
9 A Woman's Right to Shoes
8/17/03
Season-only
When Carrie's Manolos are stolen from a friend's party, it seems her single lifestyle also robs her of the right to complain. Charlotte deals with the loss of a garment (or two) as Harry makes himself comfortable at home; Miranda spots potential in her new neighbor, Robert; and Samantha loses a battle for restaurant rights...to a child.
10 Boy, Interrupted
8/24/03
Season-only
Carrie rekindles an old flame, and while it's definitely hot, it's just a little too heavy. Meanwhile, Charlotte enjoys the sport of dating, but only as a 'spectator'; Miranda finds sparks with Robert but is jealous of a cheerleader; and Samantha, desperate to be cool, sneaks into an exclusive pool club.
11 The Domino Effect
9/7/03
Season-only
Carrie's emotions are stirred by a visit from a more 'open-hearted' Big. Meanwhile, Charlotte pins her reproductive hopes on an acclaimed Chinese doctor; Miranda has a run-in with Steve and Robert (who patches things up nicely); and Samantha is uncomfortable with the thought of holding hands with Smith.
12 One
9/14/03
Season-only
Carrie has an unexpected rendezvous in the exotic world of art. Meanwhile, Charlotte receives some surprising news; Miranda's and Steve's worlds collide at Brady's first birthday party; and Samantha goes to great lengths to preserve her youthful appearance 'down there.'

One of my very favourite television series when I was a teenager and early adult! The series is relatable in a way that is therapeutic and positive. I do feel that time has since taken a slight toll on the series, however. Hopefully this is only a phase and it will work itself through!
