When Colleen and Matt try to impress a potential birth mother, they have a hard time competing against another rich, swanky couple. While Joan is bedridden recovering from surgery, she persuades Sophia to spend time with her, which she quickly regrets. When Colleen and Matt learn they may not be allowed into the delivery room for the birth of the baby they are planning to adopt, they try to convince Morgan to have the baby at home. Also, Heather is thrilled when Samantha has a falling-out with a friend who was a bad influence, and Jen thinks Greg bought her a beautiful present only to discover it wasn’t for her.

When Tim and Heather realize that being grandparents is very far off in the future, they decide to have another baby. I LOVE THIS FAMILY COMEDY, IT HAS A GREAT CAST. JAMES BROLIN & DIANE WEISS ARE HILARIOUS!!! JAMES BROLIN HAS COME ALONG WAY SINCE MARCUS WELBY M. D. EVERY WEEK I LOOK FORWARD 2 WATCHING THIS, CUZ IT ALWAYS MAKES ME LAUGH, AND I FORGET ABOUT THE WEEK I HAD.. 🤣 SO THE CREATOR OF LIFE IN PIECES YOU HIT THE NAIL ON THE HEAD WITH THIS ONE!! I love it. It's a modern day real family&the whole cast is great,they feed off each other.I am super happy it's back for season 2.I don't want to pick on the lil thing's. It's perfect for me& has the flaws that higher,middle&lower bracket class families have in real life.
