About this show

Although America is known as a melting pot, it has often been taboo for people from different communities to date. But what happens when worlds collide and two people from different communities mix in the most explosive way? In this comedic series, we'll explore the answer to that question by following the king of soul style, O'Neall McKnight and his fiancee (and complete opposite) Miriam Sternoff. While O'Neal is a laid back, hip-hop producer, Miriam is a no-nonsense woman from a strict Jewish family who believes strongly in her faith. In an effort to please Miriam, O'Neal has now decided to convert to Judaism much to the dismay of his family and friends. We'll watch as emotions run high as these two completely different people try to combine lives. Will their love be able to survive?

This show had every stereotype in the book, when it comes to Black people. O'Neal is such a simple minded, unfunny bafoon. It is obvious that his fiance thought he had potential or money or access to fame & fortune through Andre Harrell. This is a pathetic story and such a train wreck. It's so unbelievable that this gay Black man truly has any intention on taking their 9 year courtship any further than a front to his 15 minutes of fame. Even free is too much to ask for on this show. I hated it.

Please don't hesitate to watch this if you like perpetuation of gross racial stereotypes and gender tropes. Black women don't make smoothies? Black men only wear sandals with socks? Lame jokes, lame couple. There are plenty of black/Jewish couples who do positive things. Please find them.

Its a good way to pass time if you REALLY have nothing to do. The show isnt that good overall and even with me being bored I was still waiting for it to be over. It seemed longer than it was. But you get what you pay for and in my case it was free.
