A classic. Charming, silly as all hell, and wonderfully politically incorrect. A colourful cast led by incredible greats such as Michael Bates, Dino Shafeek, Barbara Bhatti, Windsor Davies and other legends I can't begin to remember. Glad they live on here.

Leonard Rossiter was offered the role of Battery Sergeant Major Williams but he annoyed the writers so much they sacked him and gave it to Windsor Davies instead which meant Leonard was able to appear in Rising Damp.

One of the best comedies of its' time. Michael Bates & Windsor Davies are the highlights.
