How can someone not like this much fun in the 80s. Hap and Leonard are just the type of guys that considered themself as good old boys living in rural America having fun the way rural America was intended.

The story just sucks you in. Hap and Leonard are friends - a white guy and a black guy in the 80's. Leonard is gay, but he is no stereotype Their back story is revealed very slowly, in flashbacks, within many episodes. Trudy, Hap's ex-wife, requests his help in a mission to retrieve long ago stolen money. Hap recruits Leonard, who has a visceral dislike and distrust of Trudy. He may be right!. This is the start of a crazy adventure that sucks you in. I will be looking for the books this is based on by Joe R. Lansdale.

Dark season but couldn't stop watching once it got going. Very impressed with the writing and acting. Can't wait for more! Awesome back and forth between Hap and Leonard. Also the late 80's is a fairly unused time period for TV shows so happy to see it on the screen.
