The movie has always terrified me. I've TV seen it on tv & even that was scary. It wasn't until I was an adult in 2000 & able to see the re release in theatres with the extra footage & scenes that didn't make it into the original in the 70s. did I experience the movie uncut, unedited for TV and it did not disappoint. To this day I have only seen it in its entirety once. That's enough for me. This show brings that anxious, scared and excited feeling all true Horror fans love & appreciate. A MUST WATCH.

Dark Night of the Soul

I like how the heroes seem to constantly be disarmed in this show. It was interesting to see how Marcus learned a new technique based upon the theory that even the most malevolent demon will one day lose its malice and reunite with God. Overall this show is done well, and I can't wait to see the rest of the episodes.

I love this TV show and can’t rate it highly enough, my only regret is that it took me this long to find it and wasn’t watching when it was originally aired - apparently the viewing numbers at the time weren’t great and there are doubts about whether it will be renewed for a third season. It will be an absolute shame if it isn’t, because this show is truly something special. Geena Davis in Season One was the standout actor for me; but all the actors involved play fabulous parts. If you’re a fan of the movie/book, like me, you will be delighted by the references to those - that’s all I’ll say about that as I don’t want to spoil anything for anyone. And if you haven’t seen/read the earlier versions, I think this would work equally as well as a standalone. Fingers crossed for a third season as TV this good doesn’t come around often!
