It's a fun take on the "monster of the week" structure that's so prevalent in this sort of episodic TV. What elevates it above a "meh" is James Spader stealing every scene he's in, sometimes chewing the scenery but often just out-charismaing everyone else in the scene. Think Robert Downey Jr. in, well, most things. So, if you're not a fan of James I imagine you'll get little out of this.

One of the best TV series I've seen in a long time. James Spader is just amazing in this thrilling series of dark twists and turns. One to watch if you haven't seen it before.
