(Series Premiere) A divorced high-school basketball coach (Thomas Jane) looks to change his fortunes by cashing in on his winning tool.

In an effort to market Ray as a high-end 'happiness consultant,' Tanya seeks out a former colleague named Lenore, who agrees to take Ray for a test ride. Meanwhile, Jessica's obsessive behavior grates on her kids, who push Ray to fix his house.

Ray's fortunes sink further when his nosy neighbor, Howard Koontz, accuses him of public indecency. Meanwhile, Ray and Tanya's frayed partnership seems to be dead in the water--until a last-minute proposal resurrects their dreams.

West Lakefield students choose 'Coach Ray' to be the recipient of their fall fundraising efforts. Meanwhile, Tanya gets a couple of leads that could jump-start Ray's gigolo career and Damon overreacts while defending Darby's honor..

Ray is frustrated when an unsatisfied client asks for a do-over of her 'damsel in distress' fantasy. With times tight for Ronnie and Jessica, Ray hopes to one-up his ex by promising to buy a car for the twins. Tanya goes on a pity date with Floyd.

Tanya chastises Jemma for setting up dates directly with Ray; Jessica confronts Ronnie about money. After Jemma prods Ray to open up about himself, he gives his basketball team an inspiring pep talk.

Ray confronts his growing feelings for Jemma. Tanya meets a hipster who sets out to help her writer's block. Ray runs into Jessica, who invites him to a family dinner. Ray's finds himself in a potential quid pro quo situation with Howard's wife Yael.

Ray turns to Tanya for advice, and attends a family barbeque at his ex's. Meanwhile, Tanya finds her new boyfriend Pierce to be a man of mystery; and Lenore gives Tanya some unwanted feedback on her marketing strategy.

Tanya is dismayed when a 'satisfied' customer says she won't be using Ray's services again. Later, Tanya pitches Happiness Consultants to other women in her office, with mixed results. Damon's androgynous new friend leaves Ray baffled.

(Season One Finale). Tanya battles Lenore for control of Ray. As Ronnie flirts with an old flame at work, an unfulfilled Jessica decides her battery needs a jump start. Ray finds a sweet surprise at home, courtesy of his bees and his frisky neighbor.

In the Season Two premiere, Ray's new co-partnership with Tanya and Lenore starts inauspiciously when he holds back during a tryst with a pregnant client. Looking to get an edge on Lenore, Tanya seeks out some pimping advice from a real pro.

Ray irritates Lenore by giving Claire marriage advice; Tanya tries to prove she can land a big fish for Ray; Ray uses his sex earnings to pay for the school baseball team's transportation to away games, raising Mike's suspicions.

Ray gets more than he bargained for during an impromptu visit with Claire. Seething from the demands of her new boss at work, Tanya turns to Charlie for advice on how to deal with an even more irritable problem: Lenore.

Ray gives Lenore an ultimatum; Tanya suggests a new hobby to shake Damon out of his doldrums; Jessica faces a quandary at home. On his way to meet a new client, Ray has to think on his feet when he runs into Mike in a hotel lobby.

Tanya lands Ray the 'white whale' of clients, but an emergency involving Damon threatens to derail the date. With Mike at the end of his teaching rope, Ray decides to promote him to co-manager of the baseball team. Jessica is peeved with Ronnie.

Jessica turns to Ray for help with a rodent problem that may be imaginary. Rebuffed by Ray in her attempts to add Mike to her stable, Tanya gets guilt-management advice from Charlie. Ray has difficulty thawing a client who is cold as ice.

A container of hummus puts Ray in the position of choosing cultural sides between Yael and a new client. Tanya catches Ray in a cover-up--and turns to Charlie for some stress relief. Lenore seethes after learning of Tanya's duplicity.

With his team's future wracked by vandals, Ray agrees to participate in a student-alumni baseball game, but an unexpected warm-up session with Claire threatens to put him on the disabled list.

A bad day at school gets worse when Mike accuses Ray of betrayal. Ronnie vents his frustrations with Jessica at a dermatology banquet, sending his wife running for the exits. Empowered by confession, Tanya lashes out at Ray, Lenore, and Horny Patty.

Season Two Finale. Eyeing a possible second chance with Jessica, Ray contemplates a break from the business. Tanya visits Frances and Ray to try to make amends. Ronnie returns to find that Jessica has made a decision that could impact both their futures.

(Season 3 Premiere) Ray and Tanya mustconvince a bank officer and her friend that their Wellness Center for Women idea is financiallysound. Lenore discovers a new prospect to rival Ray.

After Ray's client is stolen by Jason, Tanya decides to handle the competition herself. Lenore learns a secret about Jason. Jessica tries her hand at independence; Charlie asks Tanya for a favor, and Ray meets a client who likes to dress up as a cop.

Ray fears he blew his cover when he mistakes a former student for a client. Tanya finds herself in charge of a felon. Jess is hired to work in the office of Dr. Matt Kopylov, the husband of Ronnie's mistress. Lenore brokers a deal with Sandee.

Ray and Tanya conspire to get rid of an explosive client. Charlie advises Tanya to keep Lydia happy. Lenore manages Sandee's rising demands, and Matt and Jessica bond.

After Ray tells Lydia he's leaving the business, she takes Ray and Tanya on a ride they will never forget. Darby threatens to leave home, and Lenore confronts Jason about missing a date with a client.

When his shoebox of cash goes missing, Ray goes after the prime suspect: Lenore. His investigation lands him a brand new client named Kyla. Meanwhile, Sandee offers Tanya the opportunity to expand her business.

After spending the night with Kyla, Ray finds out she may not be the woman he thinks she is. Jason's introduction to the Wellness Center brings out Ray's competitive side. Charlie helps Tanya confront Sandee and Jason about Ray's missing money.

Tanya finds out Charlie has skipped bail, and asks Missy to help track him down. Lenore declares war on Tanya and the Wellness Center. Sandee advises Jason on how to take Ray's spot. Ray has a crisis about his ability to please women--especially Jessica.

Tanya finds out she's not invited to Frances and Mike's wedding. After breaking Jason's nose, Ray steals back his clients. Tanya bonds with Charlie's sons, who were left in her care.

(Season Three Finale) With the fate of the Wellness Center hanging in the balance,Ray and Tanya must find Charlie and recover their forty grand. Matt accuses Jess of urine tampering; Lenore's endgame blows up in her face.
