The Messengers

A mysterious object plummets to Earth, sending out a shock wave that causes five strangers to perish, only to miraculously come back to life moments later. The group includes Vera (Shantel VanSanten), a struggling radio-astronomer searching for her missing son; Erin (Sofia Black-D'Elia), a young mother desperate to protect her seven year old daughter (guest star Madison Dellamea) from an abusive ex-husband (guest star Lane Garrison); Peter (Joel Courtney), a troubled high school student; Raul (JD Pardo), a federal agent looking to escape his dangerous and violent undercover assignment; and Joshua (Jon Fletcher), a charismatic second-generation televangelist. Most mysterious of all is the figure known only as The Man (Diogo Morgado), who offers Vera the one thing she wants most in life - if she will help him with one morally complicated task which puts her on a collision course with Rose (Anna Diop), a nurse who has been in a coma for seven years. Drawn together by fate and biblical prophecy, the "Messengers" soon learn they have supernatural gifts that might be the only hope for preventing the impending Rapture. Craig Frank also stars.

Drawn together by destiny, Vera (Shantel VanSanten), Erin (Sofia Black D'Elia), Joshua (Jon Fletcher), Raul (JD Pardo) and Peter (Joel Courtney) convene together where they meet the mysterious Rose (Anna Diop). Rose reveals that they are angels and their mission is to find and stop the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse from bringing about the Rapture. Meanwhile, The Man's (Diogo Morgado) real identity is revealed and he continues to tempt Vera with clues about her missing son. Craig Frank also stars.

On the hunt for the Horseman of War, Joshua (Jon Fletcher), Erin (Sofia Black D'Elia) and Peter (Joel Courtney) make great strides for the group. Raul (JD Pardo) and Vera (Shantel VanSanten) are more hesitant to believe and when they stray, there are unforeseen consequences. But when Vera discovers her gift, she finally starts to re-think her purpose. Craig Frank, Anna Diop and Diogo Morgado also star.

The Horseman of War will be speaking at an international energy summit and it is up to our heroes to figure out which attendee is the victim and which is the Horseman before someone dies. Meanwhile, one of the Messengers is in jail and The Man (Diogo Morgado) is determined to keep him there. Erin's (Sofia Black-D'Elia) attempts to celebrate Amy's (guest star Madison Dellamia) birthday in peace are thwarted as Raul (JD Pardo) and Joshua (Jon Fletcher) look to jumpstart Joshua's visions, and we finally meet the seventh angel. Shantel VanSanten, Diogo Morgado, Craig Parker, Anna Diop and Joel Courtney also star.

As the fully united Messengers work to track down the Second Horseman of the Apocalypse, Alan (Craig Frank) and Vera (Shantel VanSanten) continue their quest to uncover the genesis stone's secrets. Meanwhile, Erin (Sofia Black D'Elia) begins to discover the price of her gift. Diogo Morgado, Jon Fletcher, JD Pardo, Anna Diop and Joel Courtney also star.

As the Messengers race to stop the next Horseman, they uncover a cyber plot to kill thousands. Meanwhile, Joshua (Jon Fletcher) finds he can no longer escape his past. Diogo Morgado, Shantel VanSanten, Craig Frank, JD Pardo, Sofia Black D'Elia, Anna Diop and Joel Courtney also star.

The Messengers struggle to stay together and on mission when an unforeseen setback causes them to question whether being an Angel is causing them more harm than good. In the process of pursuing their own desires, the Messengers discover that destiny has a strange way of bringing them back together. Diogo Morgado, Shantel VanSanten, Craig Frank, JD Pardo, Sofia Black D'Elia, Jon Fletcher, Anna Diop and Joel Courtney also star.

The Man (Diogo Morgado) informs the Messengers one of their own has betrayed them and another is in imminent danger, while Amy's (guest star Madison Dellamea) drawings predict the arrival of someone who could change the course of everyone's destinies. Shell-shocked from recent events, the team rallies and travels to California to stop a pair of brothers (guest stars Jamie Bamber and Riley Smith), one of whom may be the Horseman of Famine, from committing a fateful sin. Diogo Morgado, Shantel VanSanten, Craig Frank, JD Pardo, Sofia Black D'Elia, Jon Fletcher, Anna Diop and Joel Courtney star.

Conflicting clues cause The Messengers to take differing sides on which brother will become the Horseman of Famine, and Vera (Shantel VanSanten) comes dangerously close to uncovering the Horsemen's master plan for the genesis meteorite. The limits of each Messenger's power are put to the test as they work together to free a key player from a secret government lock-up, and Joshua's (Jon Fletcher) latest vision points to the appearance of a treacherous new enemy. In a heart-pounding series finale, The Messengers face off against the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse, whose plan to break the fifth seal could destroy everything our heroes hold dear.
