Noddy in Toyland

When Noddy accidentally scratches Car, he borrows a magic paintbrush from Big Ears. But the brush is unreliable and paints crazy colours round Toytown. Fortunately, Noddy and Bumpy's recent game of fetch gives Noddy the idea of getting Bumpy to catch the paintbrush and the town paints itself back to normal. / When Mr Wobbly Man wobbles onto the trampoline Noddy was taking to the Little Skittle birthday party, he needs to think of a new game for them. When he finally manages to get their giant birthday jelly to the party, the empty tray the jelly was sitting on gives him an idea for a game and the Skittles use the giant jelly's giant tray as a slide.

Tessie wants to compile a photo album for Dinah's birthday. She takes a photo of Noddy but her lens cap is on. Tessie runs around trying to snap a photo of Noddy while he takes part in a car race with Jumbo. She finally manages just as Noddy and Jumbo cross the finish line. No-one can decide who won the race until Tessie's photo reveals Noddy as the winner. / When Baby Ball comes to visit, he's not the timid little thing Noddy remembers. Now he's BB and full of bounce! So much so, he causes havoc around Toytown until Noddy has an idea to keep him busy knocking down the Little Skittles.

Noddy teaches Whiz how to play hide and seek. The robot is very pleased with his hiding place on the edge of town. No-one will find him here! After a while though, he begins to wish Noddy would find him. Noddy is on the case! Using Whiz's big new magnet he manages to track him down. Maybe Whiz is a little too good at hide and seek. / Mr Plod concentrates so hard on not laughing in a "keep a straight face" game with Noddy, that he swallows his laugh! Noddy tries everything to make him laugh but it's only when he and the Toytown residents bring by a procession of the hilarious migrating chattering teeth for Mr Plod's entertainment that the laugh pops back up where it should be.

Mr Wobbly Man's jelly mixer remote control is broken so he could do with borrowing Whiz's new Control-it-all, the remote that can control everything. But Bumpy gets hold of the Control-it-all and causes havoc round Toytown. Noddy's plan to use a big pool of sticky jelly from the mixer to stop Bumpy in his tracks gets everything back to normal. / The Little Skittles are so over-excited about going to their first Domino Day that they keep getting in the way. Soon their exuberance sets the domino rally off early. They need to learn patience. Eventually it's time for the rally to start and the Little Skittle declare it was well worth waiting for.

The googleberries are ready for picking so the toys set off to the forest. Just when Car's trailer is full, the goblins attach it to their tandem and make off with the fruit. Car can't drive in the forest but Noddy remembers the giant wheels Lindy has ordered by accident and Car in monster truck mode chases the Goblins through the forest and in to town where the Goblins crash and fall into the googleberries, mashing them up. Never mind, says Mr Wobbly Man, they've saved me the job of crushing the fruit. / Noddy and Tessie plan a picnic so everyone can try her new singalong machine. As Noddy delivers the invitations, the goblins undeliver them with their new clawgrabber. Noddy gives chase resulting in the whole bag of invitations flying away. Tessie doesn't think anyone will come to the picnic but Noddy has an idea... He uses her singalong machine's microphone to announce the picnic and it goes off beautifully the goblins grumbling nearby as they're made to litterpick the dropped invites with their clawgrabber.

Noddy brings Mr Wobbly Man a tin of treacle so he can make a lovely sticky treacle tart for Pudding Day. But the goblins steal the tin and Noddy has to chase them round toytown to get it back. Of course, Noddy catches them sticky handed and the treacle tart gets made and enjoyed by all of Toytown. / The toys want Mr Plod's birthday picnic to be a surprise but he's prowling around, on the trail of a missing kite. Noddy invents some clues to a mystery for Plod to follow and even though the goblins steal Plod's birthday picnic, he has a great day following clues and finds the culprits in the end, the goblins. Mr Plod is even more delighted when he finds out the kite is for him.

Lindy is very excited that it's Bluebell Day and wants to visit her sisters to celebrate. She is so eager to go that she uses magic in the garage, which makes Whiz very cross. He tells her to leave but after she's gone, Whiz feels strange. Noddy helps Whiz to understand it's because he's missing Lindy and arranges a rapprochement for the robot and the fairy. / Tessie always goes looking for her birthday surprise party, so it ends up not being a surprise. Noddy tries to stay one step ahead and when the Little Skittles card for Tessie is so big it has to move on the Skittles' wagon, it gives Noddy the idea of keeping Tessie's picnic on wheels to keep it mobile. Then Noddy has the idea to use his trailer, and Tessie really is surprised when she finally sees her birthday parade.

The Skittles are fascinated when Noddy tells them the circus is coming to town. Then everyone is dismayed when the clowns water throwing antics have given them such awful colds, they cancel the show. Noddy decides they will still have a circus. Lindy and Tessie do a magic act, Jumbo and Clockwork mouse perform a strongman routine and Noddy and the Skittles make such funny clowns, the real clowns start to feel much better. / Bumpy is really muddy from playing football. Big Ears unreliable magic gets rid of the mud, but gets rid of Bumpy too! They will need to give him a bath to make him visible again but Bumpy loathes baths and runs away. Everyone helps Noddy try to track down invisible Bumpy. Noddy realises the way to fix things is with another game of football when he kicks the ball into the fountain, Bumpy follows and the water makes him visible again!

Noddy plans a parade through Toytown but the goblins mix up the routes by turning round the arrows and the marchers all get separated all over town. Noddy takes to his helicopter and skywrites a drawing of an arrow to get the marchers back to the Jelly bowl. On the way they gather up the arrow changing Goblins who must now take part in the parade. Everyone arrives in the square marching and singing happily. The goblins can't stand it! / Mr Plod knocks some of Big Ears' 'Go Faster' dust on his trousers and zooms off round Toytown. He just can't stop running! Noddy sorts out a trap which catches Mr Plod but then the trousers take off on their own. Noddy borrows Whiz's new Suck-o-matic, chases the trousers and sucks out the magic dust. Mr Plod is thrilled to be reunited with this trousers.

The goblins try to spoil Noddy's roller disco with a weather wrecking kit from Goblin Gizmos. Their wind machine doesn't stop the fun, as Noddy and the toys use the gale to join in a roller conga using a big umbrella as a sail. Then the goblins remote controlled rain cloud is caught in a net and the Goblins end up forced to join the roller disco fun cheerleading with Tessie. / Sly gives Gobbo a test: Can he spoil the fun in Toytown on his own? But Gobbo has so much fun with Bumpy and Noddy that the funometer explodes. As Whiz and Lindy try and fix it, Gobbo goes off to try and cause some misery. Noddy re-unites him with the mended fun-o-meter and gets the town to pretend to be miserable so that Gobbo can pass his test.

The goblins are fed up with being caught red handed so they make themselves invisible to cause mischief in Toytown, seriously messing up Big Ears painting session. Noddy sets a trap for them: food they can't resist and rigs up the paint to reveal the Goblins. Mr Plod will let them go home when they've both done a nice painting. / Big Ears tells Noddy that the rainbow at the edge of the Wood is what brings the colour to Toytown. The Goblins overhear and steal the rainbow in a Goblin Gizmos Rainbow Robber. The colours start to disappear from Toytown - it's going gray! Noddy rushes to the Wood to see the rainbow has been taken. He and Tessie follow the multi coloured drips from the leaking Rainbow Robber back to the Goblins tree house. Using brightly coloured pictures at the crack of the Goblins door, they trick the Goblins into believing that having the rainbow inside has made their treehouse all lovely and colourful. The Goblins don't like that idea at all and can't wait to release the rainbow, bringing all Toytown's colours back again.

On a sunny day, Noddy borrows a magic watering can from Big Ears for Tessie but Big Ears forgets to tell Noddy to use only the tiniest bit. Noddy uses the whole of the contents of the watering can on Tessie's tomatoes and they grow and grow and grow, all over Tessie's house. She can't even get in! Noddy cuts down the massive plants and gives them to toys to use as sun shades. Then Tessie makes a giant pot of sauce with the giant tomatoes and everyone eats spaghetti together. / Frustrated with the Goblins spoiling their game, Lindy does magic on Sly to make him like playing. The Goblins join in but Sly plays horribly, accusing Noddy of cheating and then cheating himself. Lindy can't take the magic off by herself so asks her sisters for help. They think a playful Goblin sounds like a good idea and think the magic should stay. Meanwhile Sly's Goblin game Count and Shout is causing havoc in Toytown , So Noddy invents another game, "Who can find the most horrible smell", to lure the Goblins to the Wood, where Lindy's sisters see for themselves just how annoying the playful Sly is and help turn him back to normal.

Noddy visits his friends the pirates on his new jetski. He teaches them about burying treasure, pretending with stones and shells but the pirates rush off and bury the mermaids chest of pearls. They can't do that! Noddy gets Bumpy to help find the chest of pearls and returns them to the mermaids before they even notice they're gone. / Noddy helps the mermaids as they rehearse their water ballet but it's brought to an end by the arrival of the pirates who can't stop their ship because their anchor is missing. Noddy goes out in his submarine and finds the anchor with the help of the mermaids but it's too heavy to tug back so he tugs the ship to the anchor! The pirate ship can now moor in the harbour and they let everyone come on deck for a great view of the water ballet.

The cuckoo sees what fun everyone's having and decides to fly off and look for some fun of her won. She tries swimming with the ducks too cold; pecking the ground for worms, but that's not for her either. And she has no idea how wrong things are going to go without her. Mr Plod's shoes wear through because he doesn't know when to stop his morning round. The guards change twice in one minute then not for hours and Mr Wobblyman's jellies freeze solid. They need her back! Noddy takes to the skies in his airplane and he and the paper planes search for her. Noddy finds her and they all head back to Toytown. Noddy has a great idea for a game cuckoo can play while still letting everyone know the time. Hide and Seek! She is delighted. / Whiz has no idea how birthdays work so Noddy introduces him to all the elements of birthdays prior to throwing Whiz his own party. The Goblins take advantage of Whiz's ignorance of birthdays to tell him he must do some pretty crazy things with his card and present. But it turns out that throwing his present into the river is exactly the right thing to do it's a remote control boat!

Noddy goes bird-watching with Mr Plod to see if they can spot an Enchanted Warbler. They think they're on the trail, but it's the Goblins tricking them with a Goblin Gizmos' bird caller. Noddy catches the Goblins and finds the callers but there's the sound of the Warbler again...there must really be one in the wood! They trace it to the Goblins tree house where Sly's door slamming makes the nest fall out of the tree, Noddy just managing to catch it in Mr Plod's helmet. Mr Plod gets a beautiful photo of the Warbler and its chicks. / The Skittles show Noddy their shell collection... just one shell! Noddy takes them to the beach for more. Meanwhile Jumbo and Clockwork Mouse help the mermaids to decorate their roof with pretty stones and shells but in trying to stick one on, Jumbo manages to push the roof off. A call to the beach for Noddy means the roof is soon attached to his helicopter and placed back on. But then Mrs Skittle calls. She and the Skittles have been cut off by the waves and need rescuing. Noddy tells her to use the shells they've collected to make an ”x" so he can see them. He winches them to safety but the Skittles are sad they had to leave their shells behind. Noddy has a surprise for them - a big chest of shells left over from the mermaids decorating.

Noddy plans a big dance in the Town Square. He and Tessie tell everyone about it and everyone shows them their favourite style of dancing. Noddy isn't sure what kind of dance he's going to do. Then disaster strikes! Tessie's singalong machine breaks down and Whiz can't get the new part until next week. Everyone is assembled for the dance, what are they going to do? Noddy puts together an impromptu band - Jumbo's car horn, Lindy banging a hubcap and the Skittles blowing across their googleberryade bottles. He gets into the swing moving about while conducting the band, that he finds his dance and everyone joins in with it. / Whiz is excited. His friend Woosh is coming to visit Toytown. Then he's worried, she's even more neat and organised than he is, what will she think of all his chaotic, wobbling, bumping, falling over friends? Noddy helps Whiz to try and organise everyone but it just doesn't work. When Woosh arrives he manages to steer her away from any chaos but the robotic welcome routine he plans is a complete disaster. Whiz apologises to Woosh. His friends may be disorganised but he thinks they're great. But what's this? Woosh loves them too! She can see robots anytime in robot town. She loves the mayhem of Toytown. Noddy says he knows somewhere she's going to REALLY love: the Jelly Bowl. Woosh is beside herself with enjoyment, taking photos and laughing at the antics in the Jelly Bowl.

The pirates are in town. There's no wind to sail and they want to have fun. Playing cricket with Noddy and the Skittles, they start burying the ball. They can't help themselves, it's what pirates do! When they disappear along with Tessie's picnic hamper, Jumbo's driving gloves and Mr Plod's whistle, Noddy decides it's time to act. He confronts the pirates who apologise and hand over their treasure map. Everyone has a great time finding their things and digging them up again. But there's one more x on the map.... it's Noddy's helicopter helmet and it gives him a great Noddy idea! Telling the pirates to go back to their ship, he turns up in his helicopter creating enough wind with its blades to blow the pirates back out to sea. / The Goblins see what fun the Skittles are going to have going for a ride with Noddy and Tessie on the Toytown Express so they steal the train and won't stop for anyone to get on. Hero Noddy climbs aboard and stops the train and the Skittles get their ride.

Jumbo accidentally knocks Clockwork mouse's house down. Again. Just by trying to get inside. Clockwork mouse needs a bigger house and Noddy and the townsfolk help to build it. But then that house gets knocked down too! Noddy remembers the sticky custard Tessie was making and they make bathfuls of the stuff using it to stick the blocks together for a Jumbo-proof house for Clockwork Mouse. / The Paper Doll's have spent ages making beautiful dresses for a fashion show but the Goblins steal them and when Noddy catches up with them the dresses have torn on prickly bushes. Noddy gets the Skittles to help make colourful new dresses and they make so many that the Goblins are drafted in as extra models .

The Goblins get a gizmo that sucks up sounds. It gets full and bursts. Noddy is still on the Goblins trail when he notices that sounds are back but they've gone to the wrong place. Mr Plod's horsey neigh of a laugh included. Sly is so fed up of his quacking footsteps and Gobbo's piratey "Arrrrrrr!" of a voice that he gives the Sound Sucker back to Noddy. Noddy sorts the sounds out and everything's back to normal... apart from Sly's quacking feet. / Noddy, Tessie and Lindy are playing volleyball on the beach with the mermaids when a badly aimed ball breaks the bulb of the lighthouse. On finding there's no spare bulb Noddy persuades Whiz to let Lindy magic his torch beam stronger so that the pirates avoid running into the rocks!

The Goblins decide that the way to stop Noddy having fun is to make sure he's kept busy all day. They swap his crate of jelly mix for springs and make the paint he and Mr Plod are using on the police station turn pink. But whatever they do, Noddy ends up using their interventions to his advantage and having fun anyway. / A Jigsaw piece turns up that doesn't fit into any of the Toytown jigsaws. Finding a map of the jigsaw with the pirates, Noddy and co dig up all the other pieces except one. The pirates have the last piece a bright golden sunshine: treasure! Noddy asks them for this piece of "treasure" so he can finish the jigsaw and when Whiz offers them the shiny ball bearings he was using as marbles in its place, they're happy to swap.

Tessie wants to beat Mr Wobbly Man in the Cakey Bake competition. Lindy and Tessie help her make fairy cakes using Lindy's fairy baking powder which makes cakes extra light. Bumpy accidentally knocks the whole bottle of fairy baking powder into the mix and the cakes are so light, they make the judges float up into the sky! Noddy brings them down to earthy and gives them some of Mr Wobbly Man's heavier cake as ballast. Tessie and Wobbly Man are joint winners and decide they'll join forces next year. / The Goblins break their Fun-o-meter and blame Whiz. They realise if they make him come to their tree house to mend it, it will keep him away from the race track where he's needed for the race to start. The Goblins think it will be great but are soon driven potty by Whiz's tidying he can't settle to his repair work in this mess. Needing him at the race track, Tessie and Noddy find bits of broken fun-o-meter outside the garage and track Whiz down to the Goblins treehouse where they're amused to see the Goblins have been hoist by their own petard once again. The Goblins are more than happy to let Whiz go by this point and are roped into the race with rocket boosters on their tandem.

The Skittles have made a card for Mrs Skittle but they want Noddy to help them make her a present. They try and make her a jelly which goes everywhere and spills on the card, they want a photo and try to pose in a pyramid shape but fall all over the place - Noddy sticks the photo on the card. They ask Whiz to make an Everything Machine that sews, sprinkles glitter, hoovers.... to save their mum time. The machine malfunctions and sucks up their card, sewing buttons all over it. All they have for their troubles is one battered card. But their mum thinks it's perfect it reminds her so much of her funny, adventurous children! / Bumpy wakes up early and wants Noddy to play fetch but Noddy still wants to sleep. Bumpy goes into Toytown with his stick. The Skittles are still sleeping and Mr Wobbly Man is too busy making jelly to play. Mr Beetle is packing his car preparing to head to the airport on holiday. He throws the stick away but Bumpy chases it, alerting the Goblins to fun! They grab Bumpy's stick and steal Mr Beetle's car but Sly drives it into the river and it floats away. Bumpy gets Mr Beetle to climb onto his back and takes him to the airport, his fishing rod behind him, pulling his suitcase. Bumpy goes home and falls asleep just as Noddy wakes up. The boy can't understand why his dog doesn't want to play.

Whiz wants to learn how to make jellies and he's so good that Mr Wobbly Man takes up Noddy's suggestion of having some time off. But when he comes back people are asking for Whiz's special jellies and when Mr Wobbly Man says he doesn't know how to make them, they leave the Jelly Bowl. Mr Wobbly Man finds out that Whiz is making jellies in the garage! There's only room for one jelly genius in Toytown. Mr Wobbly Man swallows his pride and agrees to learn how to make Whiz's jellies and it inspires Mr Wobbly Man to invent his best jelly ever. His reputation restored, he's happy to agree to Whiz Wednesdays in the Jelly Bowl. / Noddy teaches the Skittles how to throw a boomerang. But one throw doesn't come back. Noddy said boomerangs always came back! Noddy tracks the boomerang down but it is tricky to get hold of, eventually he brings it back to the sleeping Skittle who's really happy Noddy was right after all.

Mr Wobbly Man and Noddy offer to look after the Little Skittles. Noddy is delayed and an unsure Mr Wobbly Man treats the Skittles like they are little babies which at first they love but then become bored. At a loss for what to do next, Mr Wobbly Man makes them go to bed - in the middle of the afternoon! When Noddy eventually turns up he tells him children like having fun, and that they might like what Mr Wobbly Man thinks is fun - making jelly! The Skittles love causing chaos in the Jelly Bowl, Mr Wobbly Man finally relaxes and the Skittles think he's the best babysitter ever. / Dinah and the Paper Dolls are setting up a mini gymkhana for Dapple, who nibbles at the Doll's dresses. They are very upset and say that if Dapple bites anything else he will have to go and live in a field. The Goblins decide to stitch Dapple up and roam around Toytown taking bites out of things with their Goblin Gizmos 'Munchalot'. Finding out that Dapple hasn't left Doll's house street, Noddy suspects the Goblins and gets on the case, he and Dinah chasing them into the wood where they chuck the Munchalot into the bushes. Returning without any evidence to prove Dapple's innocence, they find to their delight that the Paper Dolls have decided they like the dresses after all. And when the munchalot is brought into town everyone understands what's happened and the Goblins are made to watch the gymkhana while mending the things they munched.

Posing for a group photo, Noddy and co are amused to be joined by hoards of chattering teeth. They love having their photos taken. Later Noddy, Whiz and Lindy are baffled by a rattling sound coming from Car, until a set of teeth are revealed inside the glove compartment. Noddy sets about looking for the rest of the teeth to reunite them but can't find them anywhere. Then he remembers how keen the teeth were to have their photos taken and sets up Tessie's camera. Sure enough the teeth all come along and they are reunited with the stray set of teeth. Noddy looks for snow for the Skittles who have never seen it. He finds a tiny bit on the mountain top but it's almost melted by the time he gets back. Then he's called to the Jelly Bowl where Mr Wobbly Man's malfunctioning hot fridge has not been helped by Lindy's magic. It's pouring out snow perfect for the Little Skittles to have a fun time in.
