I haven't watched AHS since season 1 - I'm a big horror fan, but this show never did it for me... BUT 80's slasher films are totally my jam, so I watched the first episode of AHS 1984 just to see if they could pull it off. And they do! I loved the first ep! The music, the fashion, along with every 80's teen slasher horror trope, and a great cast. So far, it's spot on tonally and was soooo much fun. So maybe check this one out, even if you'd given up on the franchise!

I thoroughly enjoy many aspects of this series. I enjoy how they transform each actor/actress and mold them to fit each different role that they undertake. I enjoy the storylines and appreciate that they change it up every season. However, for it's name it doesn't exactly live up to the expectation of being a "horror show". I honestly don't believe that I have felt "horror" once during the series. Besides that it is a great show, truely one of a kind in the TV platform

I thought Roanoke was 3 stars even though the reality show implementation was very clever but the rest of them 4 stars close to 5. Anyone whose seen these series knows that there is at least one season that feels very close to home for reasons just beyond reach. There are truths in this TV series that make me think, "Well if that's true?". Anyway brilliant actors and team work. They just don't make stuff like this anymore, but glad AHS does. Intriguing and raw. Keep up the good work.
