About this show

Breathing new life into the classic novel by Alexandre Dumas, The Musketeers is packed with action, adventure and romance. Set on the streets of 17th-century Paris, where law and order is more an idea than reality, the series follows the horse riding, sword-wielding Musketeers Athos, Aramis and Porthos. Far more than King Louis XIII's personal bodyguards, they ultimately stand resolutely for social justice: for honor, for valor, for love and for the thrill of it.

I've enjoyed this series thoroughly, after buying season 1 at a glance in a store simply because I had seen so many of these actors in other things, and it did not disappoint! Once season 1 got its feet under it and found its pace, I was all-in for these adventures! Season 2 is also fun and full of action and drama, with touches of comedic moments to lighten the serious moments and show the camaraderie between the Musketeers. There are a few lulls in season 2 but they are short and minor, and overall the action is wonderful. I can't wait for season 3!

Nauseating concoction that exploits the names of the heros of outstanding classic creation of Alexandre Dumas. Had to reread the book to take the bad taste out of my mouth.

The actors chosen for the Musketeers are suburb. Best action pack and swordsmanship ever. The connection between all the characters pull you into the story line. The musical back ground is purfect. Of course, you fall in love with Athos, Porthos, Aramis, and the dashing D'Artagnan.
