Mount Pleasant

Back in Mount Pleasant life's sweet as we join Lisa, Dan and the residents but how long can peace prevail? There is an important football game on and it's all over to the Johnson's to watch it. Sue is putting on one of her famous spreads and there's excitement in the air. But Lisa has other ideas as she is led astray by her new found friend Kim.

The residents all pull together when tragedy hits Mount Pleasant. Pauline is knocked for six when she gets a visit from a blast from the past.

Whilst Dan is made up to see his dad again Pauline is far from happy and makes it known that she isn't going to let Charlie back into her life anytime soon. Jack tells Bianca that he isn't moving back into the Close. Much to Lisa's dismay Jack wangles himself a job at Reconnect so she can see him at work instead. Greg's on the up and Shelley wonders if she is really over him at all. Fergus makes it very clear to Denise that she'll be hearing from his solicitor. Dan goes to Barry and Sue's rescue, where is Lisa when you need her?

A handsome new resident turns up in Mount Pleasant which sends Bianca into a bit of a spin. Barry and Sue find a new hobby but it looks like it could drive a wedge between the two of them. Dan continues to be irritated by Lisa's blossoming friendship with new best friend Kim and grudgingly goes along for a couples meal to meet Kim's husband Bryan – Lisa is adamant that everyone is going to get along.

Barry and Sue are off to Chorley Mill with the illustrious Terry and Margaret but it isn't long until Sue's irritation sets in, surely there has to be more to life? Barry realises he has to do something, and fast. Greg bumps into Kim and isn't as keen as she is to repeat their one night stand. Denise gets news from Fergus' solicitors - why won't he just leave her and Josh alone? Pauline and Charlie go out on a date. Kim makes Lisa an offer she'd be mad to refuse.

Lisa and Dan are full of excitement about their holiday to Spain, what a good friend Kim has turned out to be, is there no end to her generosity? Pauline and Charlie are bursting with the news that they got back together the night before - as grim as Dan finds the thought of his parents getting it on, he's overjoyed. Denise pays Fergus's wife Jane a visit. While Greg and Shelley squabble over who is taking Lisa and Dan to the airport they nearly miss the signs telling them that something isn't quite right about the trip.

Kate is back and tries her best to convince Lisa that she's all better now. Dan and Chris's budding bromance puts Lisa's nose out of joint. Lisa can't wait to see Barry and Sue back home where they belong. Lisa's 'Welcome Home' drinks for her mum and dad get out of hand in more ways than one. Bianca and Chris agree to go to Barry and Sue's 'Welcome Home' drinks together - but is it a date?

Dan's obsession with tonight's Pub Quiz reaches fever pitch, it's a shame nobody else is that bothered. The newly single Fergus tricks Denise into paying him a visit at his sad motel room. Lisa forgives Kate but will Dan ever get over the past? Charlie drags the lonely Barry out on a bender, will he be in a fit state to represent the team at the pub quiz? Dan learns that Chris has a bit of an unsavoury secret past and feels bad for Bianca.

Denise finally lets Fergus see Josh but when he's late back she's terrified that Josh has been kidnapped. Lisa invites Bianca and Chris over for a dinner party. Dinner Party! Whatever made her do that, cooking is hardly Lisa's strong point? Dan is horrified, how will he get out of this without letting on to Lisa about Chris's sordid secret. Then just as Dan thought things couldn't get any worse, up rocks Kate to help out with the cooking.

It's Christmas Day on Mount Pleasant but is it the season to be jolly? Pauline wishes Charlie wasn't there, Lisa's not happy with her present from Dan and there's a disaster at Bianca's - time for everyone to come together and make it a Christmas to remember.
