Dexter Morgan, Miami Metro Police Department blood spatter analyst, has a double life. When he's not helping the Homicide Division solve murders, he spends his time hunting and killing bad guys that slip through the justice system.
Loved it until season 5 I've never been sympathetic with a serial killer before, but clearly there's a first for anything. Dexter really is America's favorite serial killer because you will find yourself rooting him on and with seriously mixed morals. Dexter's relationship with Rita was entirely pure, they were my otp. To go from a gay son of a funeral director to a serial killer that although we know what he does, is not normal, and yet we root for him is nothing short of extraordinary!!! I can't believe that after 6 seasons, I still wait all week with baited anticipation for the next episode. I must also wonder how he teams up with such great writers. I can offer an analogy; one of my favorite musicians is Donald Fagen. I don't know how many times that I have seen him, either as Steely Dan with Walter Becker or solo, but I am never disappointed. What makes him extraordinaire, is his complete involvement. He composes the music, writes lyrics, conducts, arranges, etc. This, I believe is true for Michael Hall. He has a lot of people who want to be a part of his next project.
