About this show

All the years of watching telenovelas with the two women who raised her - her sexy, young-at-heart mother, Xiomara (known as "Xo"), and her still - devout grandmother, Alba - have given Jane a slightly unrealistic view of romance. Although she is determined not to make the same mistake Xo made - becoming an unwed mother at 16 Jane could not be closer to the two wonderful women who have shaped her life. They are very different people - Xo lives her life as a perpetual teenager, performing at local clubs and always looking for a new man, while Alba makes religion and prayer the focus of her life - but both women consider Jane the center of their universe and love the grounded, compassionate and ambitious young woman she has become.

I read that American scientists had claimed to have found that we lose our sense of humor as we grow older. But it seems that the most of the new American babies are born without it . This is not Walking Death or Vampire Diaries (I love both of them). Jane, Gina Rodriguez just won Best Actress in a TV Series, Comedy or Musical at the 2015 Golden Globes for this show

Stupidest idea for a show. Virginity is personal, NEVER profitable in ANY matter or topic. It is a personal decision that haunts you in an oversexed environment that is the "entertainment" atmosphere these days. I KNOW THIS. Because I'm a... viewer yet experienced. I'm not trying to be self righteous, but imagine others curious and hungry about you younger upstanding sibling(s), children (of legal age) or a dear friends absence of "getting it on" and outta the way. You may a say I don't understand the concept of this show, but nowadays Virginity is a delicacy to be devoured in any manner instead of hard-thought choice that is to be discussed privately and meditated upon PERSONALLY.
