About this show

In this character-driven mystery-drama a commercial plane inexplicably disappears on a trans-oceanic flight and, more mysteriously, returns five years later after being presumed lost at sea. Interesting story though sometimes there are some loops that don't close.Still haven't 100% figured out what made a plane disappear for five years but the writers continue hinting at it to keep you interested. Some of the characters are on point whiles sometimes over acting makes for some cheesy moments. The second season felt rushed at times, like they were trying to end it. In all it is not a bad watch, My wife loves the show but for me, I feel like it needs more.

The show is a cool idea, the first several episodes had me hooked but unfortunately as the story goes on it feels more and more fake, unrealistic, and difficult to finish. Although I do understand the idea of the show itself is unrealistic, it irks me when every other facet of the show feels so far-fetched (like cops just letting the characters do whatever they want) . In my opinion sci-fi movies and TV shows should do their best to make it feel real as possible while still maintaining the main idea of the show like as if flight 828 actually landed in the real world and not some fantasy land. In the second season things just get ridiculous, like the wife getting visions through pregnancy is just trying way to hard to keep the audience guessing what will happen next. In the end it’s not a bad show but it’s not great either.

superb story! .. but that is it. average acting. average senario. overdose of unnecessary emotional stories baits. boring and slow pace. episodes template are always the same, review of past episodes, 1-2 mystery catchy events, 60% soap opera, a song in the Last 10 minutes and a mystery scene in the last 2 minutes to keep you anticipating until the following episode. Sorry, but watching "the blacklist" has ruined TV for me : )
