About this show

While hunting one of Boston’s most notorious serial killers, FBI agent Emily Byrne (Stana Katic, Castle) disappears without a trace and is declared dead. Six years later, she is found in a cabin in the woods, barely alive, with no memory of what happened to her while she was in captivity. Returning home to learn that her husband (Patrick Heusinger) has remarried and her son is being raised by another woman, Emily soon finds herself implicated in a new series of murders.

For the most part this is very well done and my only real issue is the actual bondage porn in the middle episode called 'Nobody's Innocent'. How is this rated only 14+. Sure they only show flashes but doesn't add to the story other than establish motive for a red herring suspect. The worst part is that it is well into the story before they showed this after the viewer is invested. You would think this was an HBO show. I am most upset that the rating is far too low for that kind of content. If you are going to put that stuff in it should be rate 18+ or higher. I know it's considered cool to push the boundaries like HBO and FX but quite frankly I don't want to see that stuff. If it had been rated 18+, I probably would have not watched this series and saved my money.

Had some hope for this show, but it dragged on so much, and felt like a chore that after 1.5 episodes i had to give up. The main issue for me was the singular focus stretched over an entire season, without any parts/cases in between to fill the gaps/lull in story.

Mystery, Intrigue and @Stana_Katic sounds like a great combination
