When Sonny finds out her mother is a secret fan of MacKenzie Falls, she is horrified...until she starts watching and becomes hooked on the show as well. In fact, Sonny becomes so caught up with the show, that she forgets to do the solar system project with Tawni. Grady and Nico are depending on her to do hers, then their project. Sonny denies to her cast mates that she's a fan of the show, but they soon discover her secret. However, what they don't find out is that Sonny and Chad have discovered they like each other and have decided to date. 2009 Disney Channel

Sonny is set to host a Walk-A-Thon to raise money for books in needy areas, but Chad decides he will also host a Walk-A-Thon to keep people from reading books, Sonny convinces Tawni that her Tawni Hart's Extreme Skinny Jeans will help her cause. Chad decides his group needs Tawni's jeans as well so they can look better than the So Random! group. However, everything falls apart when the tight jeans cause everyone to lose circulation in their legs, rendering them unable to walk. Sensing a growing crisis, the group creates a video to raise money for SPS—Skinny Pants Syndrome. 2009 Disney Channel

In an attempt to build trust the cast members of So Random and Mackenzie Falls go camping. Ms. Bitterman spooks the kids with a scary story about a fictional monster-like man named Candyface. When some of the kids' possessions are destroyed the cast members find themselves believing Candyface does exist. However, in the end, it is a sleepwalking Sonny who is responsible. 2009 Disney Channel

Sonny and Tawni are invited to the country of Glendovia where their characters the "Check It Out Girls" are a big hit. Unfortunately, Tawni and Sonny are in a big fight and refuse to go together. Tawni ends up going to Glendovia alone, only to find it's nothing like she expected. Meanwhile, Sonny meets Dinka, the exchange comedian sent from Glendovia. He turns out to not be funny and soon Sonny goes to Glendovia where both girls realize they need each other. Meanwhile, Grady and Nico keep failing at their attempts to impress the new cashier. When she seems impressed by Dinka's mustache, the two decide to wear fake ones. 2009 Disney Channel

Sonny goes against Gassie's trainer and secretly plays with him and feeds him meatballs. Unfortunately, all of Sonny's attention causes Gassie to quit doing what he does best, produce flatulence on demand. Bella, Gassie's owner, gives Sonny Gassie since he's not making money for her anymore. Sonny accidentally kills Gassie and angers the rest of the cast members who were hoping to star in a movie with Gassie. Meanwhile, Grady and Nico borrow money from Dakota to finance their Gassie lunch boxes. When Gassie dies unexpectedly, they are terrified of Dakota's punishment." 2009 Disney Channel

Sonny's pre-show ritual of gum chewing is in jeopardy when Tawni convinces the studio to ban gum. Chad offers use of his private gym's elliptical machines to Nico and Grady. Nico and Grady hope Chad's offer is genuine, however, they soon learn their workout generates power for Chad's dressing room. 2009 Disney Channel

Sonny and the gang attempt to apologize to Grace and Edith, two elderly, yet sassy contestant winners, after disrespecting them in a sketch. Grace and Edith get even by pretending to rob a bank with Sonny and Tawni as accomplices. Fearing he'll lose his hair like Buddy, one of the elderly winners, Chad turns to curlers and treatments to keep from going bald. In the end, the treatments cause his hair to turn orange which scares a group of children who are already afraid of clowns. 2009 Disney Channel

The So Random! cast members are unhappy with the way they are treated, so Sonny writes a letter of complaint to Mr. Condor against the advice of her friends. The group is disappointed to learn they are getting a new cast mate: Dakota. When Dakota steals the show, Sonny, Tawni, Nico and Grady are fired and sent to public school. Although Sonny tries to convince them that the situation is not hopeless, her friends feel uncomfortable and unwelcome in the school, expressing themselves in an ill-received musical number in the high school cafeteria. The day continues to worsen: Chad has been invited to give an inspirational speech to the students, who all adore him. Sonny and her friends suddenly awake and realize it was all a terrible dream, and apologize for their ungrateful behaviour. 2009 Disney Channel

Sonny is excited to meet renowned singer-songwriter Trey Brothers, who is visiting So Random! Sonny wants to present one of her own songs to him, but before she can do that, Tawni steals the song and passes it off as her own. When Trey steals the song from Tawni – along with Nico's hat, Grady's jacket, and Chad's hairstyle – the So Random! cast members set a trap for Trey, and Sonny is able to perform her song for the audience. 2009 Disney Channel

Hoping to bring her cast mates and Chad closer together, Sonny pretends to be sick. She then asks Chad to help finish items on her list of things to do, all of which involve her cast mates. Chad and the cast mates learn of Sonny's reasons when they discover her relaxing at the beach. 2009 Disney Channel

Sonny is confused when she sees two Chads, but soon realizes that one of them is actually Chaz, Chad's lookalike stunt double. Sonny is furious that Chad has been sending Chaz on dates with her and she decides to end their relationship. The So Random! crew prepares to compete on a pirate-themed game show; Sonny wants Chaz to be her partner, but she is forced to team up with Chad when Chaz is injured. Chad continues to disappoint Sonny during the show, but tries to reconcile their relationship. Meanwhile, Nico and Grady are bored and looking for a break from their usual routine. 2009 Disney Channel

"Sonny excitedly anticipates her return to her high school in Wisconsin where she will fire the West Appleton High School's cheese cannon. While she celebrates her one-year with So Random! cast members, she is also being stalked by a mysterious person who claims Sonny is a phony. As the accusations increase, from phony to thief, Tawni, Zora, Grady, Nico, Marshall, and even Chad begin to show their doubts about Sonny. Meanwhile, Sonny becomes friends with Chad's MacKenzie Falls co-star, Penelope, who at first appears to be on her side during the many accusations. In Part 2, Sonny continues to try and convince her friends that she is not the thief they think she is. Tawni offers to drive Sonny to Wisconsin to her high school celebration, grudgingly admitting that she believes Sonny is innocent. Soon the rest of the cast discovers that Sonny has been framed by Tawni, but only until they're in Chad's plane heading to Wisconsin does the real truth come out. 2009 Disney Channel

Sonny meets her childhood hero, Pauly the Polar Bear, and tries on his costume. She is tricked by the actor who plays Pauly, Hank, into wearing the costume during a publicity meeting with children at the studio, and inadvertently misses her seven-week anniversary dinner with Chad. Hurt, Chad goes to "Pauly" for advice before realizing it is Sonny in the suit. Together, they find Hank and convince him to return to his role as the polar bear. Meanwhile, Tawni helps Miss Bitterman try to win the affections of Hank. 2009 Disney Channel

The manipulative and slightly insane leader of Chad's fan club, Amber, tries to figure out why Chad's popularity has been declining, finally concluding it is because of his relationship with Sonny. When Chad chooses to remain with Sonny and fires Amber, she kidnaps him and the cast of So Random!, leaving Sonny to rescue them. 2009 Disney Channel

Sonny pretends to be Grady's girlfriend when his brother, Grant, comes to visit which causes problems with a guy Sonny wants to date. Tawni and Nico play a prank on Chad when he brags about his new energy bar product. 2009 Disney Channel

As Sonny and Chad prepare for their first date, they struggle to keep it a secret from the disapproving So Random! cast members. But when the nervous couple sits down for a romantic dinner, Chad's anxiety gets the best of him and he vomits water all over Sonny, ruining their date – and his reputation, since a photograph of the situation appears in a tabloid the next day. Sonny decides to end their relationship rather than keep it hidden from the world, but Chad manages to woo her back. 2009 Disney Channel

Sonny notices that Zora is romantically interested in an actor on Chad's show, so she tries to facilitate romance between the young couple. Although her friends warn her against meddling, Sonny invites Wesley to join the group for pizza. The date is going well until Zora steps away and Wesley starts flirting with Sonny. When Zora finds out that Wesley likes Sonny, she vows to exact revenge on Sonny. Meanwhile, Nico and Grady make a horror movie to enter in a competition. 2009 Disney Channel

Sonny and Chad are guests on a popular talk show, where they reveal that they haven't yet experienced their first kiss. Facing pressure from the media and their friends to kiss each other, Sonny and Chad bumble their attempts to kiss, leading them to question whether their relationship can withstand the stress. Meanwhile, Nico and Grady move to a new dressing room, which seems to be haunted by the ghost of an old silent film star. 2009 Disney Channel

The So Random! cast prepares for a week off, but trouble starts when a hurricane cancels Tawni's Caribbean cruise and Grady's obnoxious older brother Grant comes to visit. Meanwhile, Chad makes big demands on the studio boss Mr. Condor, who promptly fires him and give his role to Grant. Sonny tries to control the kids at Comedy Camp. 2009 Disney Channel

After Tawni accidentally runs over Dakota's new bike, Sonny and Tawni go to Izzy, the prop master, for help. Meanwhile, Grady and Nico set out wreak havoc on Chad's gift to Dakota - a song he wrote and is going to sing. 2009 Disney Channel

Sonny talks Marshall into following his dreams of doing a one man show, so Marshall quits So Random. When the studio hires a new producer who drives the kids crazy, Sonny has no choice but to try and convince Marshall to come back. 2009 Disney Channel

Sonny brings the So Random kids to a local art house to play her songs for open mike night. After Chad makes a bet with the waitress that Sonny's performance will get a standing ovation, Sonny finds out that Chad paid the audience to give her an ovation. 2009 Disney Channel
