About this show

This modern retelling of the Superman mythology as an action series blends realism, adventure and emotion. Years ago, a meteor shower rained destruction on an unsuspecting Smallville, Kansas. From this tragedy grew Clark Kent (Tom Welling), who, as he learns to deal with his emerging superpowers, becomes closer to the hero of legend.

This show is incredibly well written and the acting is near perfect. I watched it for the first time in 2021 and to my surprise it aged very well. Even more surprising, I never been a fan of Superman before, because I was annoyed with "Mr perfect" and preferred a hero with a dark past, like Batman. But Smallville showed me the early years of Clark were far from perfect and I came to appreciate how far he's come to become a real hero. All in all an outstanding show.

I grew up watching this show, bought all the seasons too, but unfortunately I lost a few when I moved out of my old house. Anyways, I'm so glad to have found this on here! It's honestly the best thing ever. Smallville made me so happy, I've never fallen so in love with a series besides Supernatural (starring Jensen ackles and jared padalecki). I enjoy rewatching it, because no matter what, Smallville will always be worth the watch ×100. xoxoxoxoxo

I bought the last episode other than that the show was getting very tiring. You knew Clark Kent was going to become Superman but it just too long to get there.
