If you are here as a fan of Supernatural, but you've never seen anime, or you've seen anime and don't like the form, then this isn't for you. I didn't want to miss out on a single offering of Supernatural material, so I thought I had to watch this, but no, I really didn't. I have watched several anime projects recommended by true anime fans, and with their guidance I've come to appreciate the form, but only in the way I've come to appreciate VanGogh. I get why he's amazing, I respect that he was a genius, but his art will never give me goosebumps or make me geek out. I will never fall in love with anime. That being the case, I never had to watch this to be a real Supernatural fan. It added nothing to my experience. I leave this little nugget of the Supernatural oeuvre to those of you who love both Supernatural and anime. For those who love anime and came to love Supernatural as a result of this, then welcome to the SPN Family! Now, for the record, if any of you gave this work a poor review because you have no experience or interest in anime, then your opinion means literally nothing. So does mine. That is why I am keeping an actual review out of this review. *nods*

They never finished it.. It leaves off at an important part, and they never introduced Castiel, or Lucifer, or any other important person. They didn't continue to Dean's death, or the apocalypse. I want to see how they would animate Dean being attacked by hellhounds.
