About this show

Thrilling fantasy drama set in a time of legendary heroes, mythical creatures and gods. When Jason sets out in a submarine to find evidence of his missing father, he is pulled through a mysterious gateway and wakes up far from home on the shores of an ancient land. A mysterious place; a world of bull leaping, of snake haired Goddesses and vast palaces - this is the city of Atlantis. Aided by the studious young Pythagoras and the overbearing Hercules, Jason embarks on an epic adventure which sees him brush shoulders with Medusa, come face to face with the Minotaur and do battle with the dead.

Have watched both series and know the plot pretty well. One error made in the description is that it is supposed to say snake haired gorgon not snake haired goddess. In response to what Tia McGrath had said it is an amazing replacement for those who loved Merlin

This is brilliant for a Saturday night in front of the goggle box. It's a bit naff at times, plot holes galore, iffy SFX here and there...but...as far as saturday night telly goes...it's a cracker! Take it for what it is people, a brilliant made for tv fantasy. I think it's brilliant and funny, my girlfriend thinks Jason's fit...so, we both look forward to each sat night (puts her in a good mood!).

Messed up series. I liked Merlin, so i was hoping this show would fill that void, but it was utter rubbish from the first episode.
