About this show

An American criminal on the run is forced to hide out in a small Australian reef community in Far North Queensland, Australia, posing as the new church Reverend. "Irreverent" is a fish-out-of-water story with a big twist. Mack will need all of his considerable street smarts to pull off posing as a clergyman - something he knows nothing about. If he slips up, he's dead, and after a lifetime of crime, doing good works is not something that comes naturally. But to his surprise, Mack will develop a knack for carrying his flock and eventually, maybe even like it.
