Marceline the Vampire Queen does not want to be a vampire any more, but can Princess Bubblegum concoct a cure? At the same time, five of Marceline's most fearsome foes return from her past. Finn, Jake, Princess Bubblegum and their friends join the Vampire Queen's fight against her immortal enemies.

As Marceline is tied up and about to be doused in the light of the rising sun, she goes through several flashbacks to past memories in her extraordinary life. Does it mean that Princess Bubblegum's cure worked?

As Marceline is enjoying her new mortality and being able to walk in broad daylight again, five foes from her past come back to cause trouble for the land of Ooo. The Vampire King is with them.

Vampire Empress reaches the land of ice and snow and hypnotises the Ice King. She is after Finn's blood. Ice King will do everything to fulfil a given task.

While on the trail of the vampire known as The Moon, Finn, Jake and Marceline run into trouble when the shape-shifting vampire Hierophant tracks them and finds them.

While Princess Bubblegum searches for a cure for Marceline, Finn and Jake take on one of the Vampires themselves. Peppermint Butler saves the day and kills the Moon Vampire, Marceline wakes up from her poison coma.

Marceline discovers what it feels like to be hungry. On the eve of the battle, her archenemy comes to Marceline with a strange proposal. The Vampire King does not want to be a vampire anymore. PB is willing to help, will the experiment work?

After the release of the Vampire King's Vampuric essence, Finn, Jake, and Princess Bubblegum are forced into a fight against the unstoppable force without the aid of Marceline. She has a moment of doubt but The talk from Ice King seems to open her eyes.

There's a catastrophic storm headed for The Grasslands, so Finn, LSP, and BMO decide to build a bunker for protection, but Jake has plans of his own…
