I have to say, I still like Season 1 probably the best because it showed the competitors go to real BBQ competitions and I was a little turned off by Season 2 when they had Warren Sapp and some other guy as judges along with the king of BBQ, Myron Mixon. But when Season 3 came along, I liked it so much better. I've gotten used to the whole "feel" of the show. I'm really liking Season 4 alot, especially since the first episode was in TX, where I'm from.

If you know the difference between a MacRib Sandwich and real BBQ you will enjoy this show.. If you want to improve your backyard BBQ, this show demonstrates what it takes to make really awesome BBQ. If you're a competitive BBQ pro - this show may help. I've caught a few hints that have really helped improve my scores. If you believe that a MacRib Sandwich is real BBQ - this show is most likely NOT for you.

I love watching this because I'm also a BBQ competitor. Plus, I'm from Texas so you know I can throw down on the pit
