A very entertaining story, and a fun show to watch. Didn't ever really see any of the Richard rage that the sword was supposed to induce. I liked Kahlan and Zed a lot though. I feel that I would have enjoyed it much more had I NOT read the books first, but just because "the book was better" doesn't make this any less of an entertaining show. Unfortunate it ran so short.

I watched this series as it aired on television, and for a non Terry Goodkind fan, its amazing. However, when you have read The Sword of Truth book series to the point you could close your eyes and visualize the entire series as a movie in your head with lines verbatim, you then realize how badly this show destroyed the storyline. This series would need to be done on a movie per book like Harry potter, not a TV show.

Sure it's a bit campy, and I never heard of the show but started watching on Netflix and couldn't stop watching. Was disappointed to find out that it already cancelled after two seasons. My only conclusion is that it must have been on FOX because they always cancel anything that's decent. They cancelled the Terminator Sarah Connor Chronicles, and I was ticked. It should have been on The WB unless it was already. Imagine if Smallville was on Fox, it would've got cancelled on 1st episode.
