About this show

New jobs are tough -- especially when your new employer is the CIA. Annie Walker (Piper Perabo) is fluent in six languages, has traveled the world and is besting her fellow CIA trainees in every test. But that doesn't explain why she's suddenly summoned by CIA headquarters to report for active duty as a field operative one month before her training is over. She doesn't know there may be something -- or someone -- from her past that her CIA bosses are really after. Annie's unofficial guide to the CIA is Auggie Anderson (Christopher Gorham), a tech ops expert who was blinded while on assignment. As Annie navigates this new world of intrigue, danger and bureaucratic red tape, Auggie is there to make sure this quick study won't be kept in the dark for long. Also starring Peter Gallagher, Kari Matchett, Sendhil Ramamurthy and Anne Dudek.

Have watched the show (and loved it) since Episode 1, but it is starting to lose some of the charm it had in the beginning. Removing characters that ground the main character is always a bad idea! Was watching the old episode from season 1 where she and her sister are at Niagara Falls and I was loving the suspense mixed with the fun! I hope Annie can find her way back to that soon.

The show is about a woman who is think she is all tough, but really... she'd cry if she missed a episode of "The View". The only good point of the show is that the girl is hot.

I usually don't watch USA but I kept hearing about this show. So finally I decided to take some time off work and decided to watch the first episode ( season 1). Let me tell you I was immediately hooked. I purchased all 4 seasons and all I did for two weeks was watch covert affairs. It was awesome to see the progression of Annie's character and her " assignments" from rookie to one more of the best secret agents in the CIA. I also love the action and the different countries they go to.
