After a long crapy day, there's nothing better than coming home and getting some great laughs. Especially helping hands. No one is better than the other. They are ALL so flipping funny. I wish I could see them in person. Yes Drew was good, but Aisha Tyler is equally funny. I just love this show. In this saddening world. We ALL can use a little laughter. Or in my case. A lot of uplifting. Times like this, it's nice to have some good, clean fun. Thank you "Whose Line Is It Anyway."

Drew Carey THOUGHT he was funny and clever, and the other cast members let him think that. Most of his "jokes" were cruel and stereotypical, and seemed to be something he found on the internet and wanted to throw in just so he could feel he participated. He laughed at himself because he (erroneously) thought he was funny. The others laughed out of sympathy. As far as I'm concerned, the only time he showed any cleverness and comedic skill was when during the Hoedown when they were doing their versions of The Village People's "YMCA" and he sang about being a macho man when he wore leather pants. He was a good host mainly because his lack of talent emphasized the talent of the others tremendously. He was obviously a nice person - the support of the others attests to that. For the most part, Aisha lets the performers do what they do best, without interfering, which goes far in making her the better host.

Back when the show was on ABC it was the best show on television. There were a few of the rotating cast members I found generally unfunny, but overall it was still incredible. The CW version is just a pale imitation. There is the fact that the dynamic between Aisha Tyler and the cast is not the same as it was with Drew (Carey and Stiles were both producers, Aisha does not share that with Carey), but the most insufferable issue is the non-stop use of "guest stars" with no improv ability.
