The mother-daughter trio of Women's Closet Exchange, an unassuming designer and vintage resale store in St. Louis, hope to hold a successful handbag event. The store advertises a great deal where customers can come in the store, sell their gently-used purse and get 20 percent off of anything in the store! But, all events come with some purse strings attached. When the shop's best authenticator Dena throws an adult temper tantrum, Sue and her daughters Diana and Laura are faced with a tough decision as to whether they can operate without her. Meanwhile, Laura gets a call from Annie Brahler, owner of interior design company Euro Trash, who wants her designer-filled closet appraised. Check out the fashionable European goodies that are hiding out in her private collection just waiting to be re-sold.

Women's Closet Exchange is a hot commodity in St. Louis, but carrying high-end designer bags and clothes comes with a lot of risk in the retail business because hot commodities can easily become hot goods if a salesperson's eyes aren't glued to their customers! Meanwhile, Laura receives a call from a stylist whose musician client Oso is in need of an eye-catching dress to wear to The Grammys! The only problem is the store currently has a shortage on showstopper gowns--so she'll need to think on her feet if she wants Women's Closet Exchange to be featured on the red carpet.

Meanwhile, Molly comes into her own by landing her first closet buy with popular supplier Sharon. The only catch is she agreed to organize Sharon's closet space as well! Plus, Jourdan's in the hot seat when a bag full of jewelry worth about twenty grand goes missing! Meanwhile, Sue and Laura take Dena on her first closet buy--and it's a biggie!

In an effort to try something new, Laura organizes a small Women's Closet Exchange event at its downtown location. However, she and Meghan get started without the blessing of owner Sue or event planner Diana! Can the two get their mix-and-match event off the ground without drawing the eye of their superiors? Meanwhile, Sue and Diana get a call from renowned local fashion collector Susan Barrett, who has an interesting invitation. Susan has amassed a stunning collection of Alexander McQueen pieces that she offers to show off for the ladies. What's more, she's willing to do a closet buy for her private wardrobe!
