Morel has been chased into an underground church by the lion-type Chimera Ant, Leol. Leol activates his Nen Abilities and produces a giant wave and a surfboard. Morel then reveals that those are his friend’s abilities. Furious, he begins his counterattack.

Gon, Killua, Knuckle, Shoot, Morel and Meleoron have gathered inside Knov’s Fourth Dimensional Mansion. Two minutes earlier; two lights fall from the sky towards the Republic of East Gorteau. Neferpitou is the first to notice that something is coming. The battle between the humans and Chimera Ants is about to begin.

Zeno and Netero’s sudden attack throws the palace into confusion. At the bottom of the central staircase, Gon, Killua and Shoot run into Youpi, who is blocking access to the King. Concerned for the King’s safety, Pitou and Pouf hurry to the King’s side.

Gon and his friends have charged into the palace. Youpi transforms and splits up the group with his attack. Morel lets Shoot and Knuckle handle things while he heads for the King.

The King faces off against Netero and Zeno. Zeno releases his Nen aura, Dragon Head, toward the King. The King keeps his back facing toward Zeno’s attack but doesn't try to dodge it.

In the basement of the palace, Ikalgo desperately searches for Palm. Meanwhile, Meleoron has used his Perfect Plan to make Knuckle completely invisible. Knuckle suddenly appears before Youpi to fight him head on.

Zeno’s cryptic words to Killua and Gon becomes clear when they reach the tower. Pitou is using his ability Doctor Blythe, on Komugi who is on the brink of death. When Gon sees Pitou, he releases fierce aura, ready to fight. But Killua senses something usual about Pitou, who shows no hostility and pleads with Gon to wait.

Shoot lingers between life and death as Knuckle carries him away from Youpi. Feeling the need to lay a punch on Youpi to avenge his friend Shoot, Knuckle decides to take on Youpi once more.

Youpi grows annoyed at Knuckle’s ability, so he pretends to be angry to make it look like he’s about to go berserk. Meanwhile, using Gyo, Ikalgo reads Palm’s hidden message, which says that she has gone to the palace and to assume that she is dead if she does not respond before the start of the mission.

Youpi is impressed by the extermination team’s abilities and acknowledges their strength. Meanwhile, Ikalgo hides beneath a truck that was blown up by Bloster. He sees an opportunity to eliminate Bloster when the elevator housing him doesn't ascend.

Morel finally takes action. He places his giant pipe on his shoulder, and destroys the cocoon before him. As he suspected, Pouf is not inside.

Gon waits for Neferpitou to finish healing Komugi with Doctor Blythe. Meanwhile, near the central tower, Menthuthuyoupi has transformed his body by learning to control his anger, while Morel uses the last bit of his strength to create clones of Knuckle. The battle finally advances to the final stage!

About this show

Gon is a young boy who dreams of following in his father’s footsteps to become a Hunter. But first he must pass the notoriously difficult and dangerous Hunter Qualification Exam. Throughout his journey, Gon overcomes many obstacles, while making new friends along the way!

This show was very captivating and fun to watch the first few arcs however once I reached the Chimera ant arc I got very disappointed. There were so many pointless episodes that didn't go hand in hand with the story and the main characters barely got any screen time. If the creators kept developing the main characters and focus less on side characters that no one is interested in, this show could of been a 4 or 5 star.

I payed for it and it keeps saying to update a app idno witch one Google play doesn't need to be updated don't get me wrong I love the show it's just this problem

Love this show so much. The characters are very unique and lovable (even the villains :) Each arc brings something new to the series and really helps with developing the story and its characters. The animation is great and the music is as well. The only downfall is the narration because you will get lost sometimes if you dont pay attention to it. Overall, this anime holds a special place in my heart and would recommend anyone to watch it. Hopefully they bring it back one day!
