PALENCIA TURISMO OFICIAL

La iniciativa DIGIPAL es un proyecto del Ayuntamiento de Palencia seleccionado en la II Convocatoria de Ciudades Inteligentes en el marco de la Agenda Digital para España. Se desarrolla a través de un convenio de colaboración con RED.ES, entidad pública empresarial del Ministerio de Asuntos Económicos y Transformación Digital y está cofinanciado por la Unión Europea a través del Fondo Europeo de Desarrollo Regional (FEDER).

DIGIPAL tiene como principal objetivo el impulso de un progresivo cambio estructural en la ciudad de Palencia orientado a conseguir un desarrollo local sostenible, basándose para ello en la realización de proyectos innovadores y en el apoyo de las TICs. La iniciativa pretende la modernización y la mejora de los servicios públicos digitales y de la administración pública, racionalizando sus gastos de funcionamiento y disminuyendo su huella ambiental, y procura incentivar la colaboración entre las distintas administraciones y agentes sociales que intervienen en la ciudad, activando y movilizando recursos, estableciendo sinergias de trabajo entre ciudadanía, instituciones y tejido empresarial.

La iniciativa DIGIPAL pretende convertir a Palencia y su alfoz en un territorio más inteligente, promoviendo el desarrollo de un conjunto coordinado de actuaciones, mediante el uso de las TIC.

Entre los diferentes componentes de esta iniciativa se encuentra la presente Aplicación móvil de Turismo Oficial de Palencia, que permite la difusión de todos los recursos y servicios turísticos de la ciudad de Palencia, una mayor interacción con el visitante en el antes, durante y después de la experiencia turística y la obtención de información y datos que faciliten la planificación de estrategias de mejora, diferenciación y optimización de recursos.

The DIGIPAL initiative is a project of the Palencia City Council selected in the II Call for Smart Cities within the framework of the Digital Agenda for Spain. It is developed through a collaboration agreement with RED.ES, a public business entity of the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Digital Transformation and is co-financed by the European Union through the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).

DIGIPAL's main objective is to promote progressive structural change in the city of Palencia aimed at achieving sustainable local development, based on innovative projects and the support of ICTs. The initiative aims to modernize and improve digital public services and public administration, rationalizing its operating costs and reducing its environmental footprint, and seeks to encourage collaboration between the different administrations and social agents that intervene in the city, activating and mobilizing resources, establishing work synergies between citizens, institutions and business fabric.

The DIGIPAL initiative aims to turn Palencia and its alfoz into a more intelligent territory, promoting the development of a coordinated set of actions, through the use of ICT.

Among the different components of this initiative is the present Palencia Official Tourism Mobile Application, which allows the dissemination of all the tourist resources and services of the city of Palencia, greater interaction with the visitor before, during and after the tourist experience and the obtaining of information and data that facilitate the planning of strategies for improvement, differentiation and optimization of resources.
