With My GPS Location you can not only determine your position accurately, but also share it live with friends or family. Your location is updated in real time and can be viewed in a browser without installing the app. This is ideal for outdoor activities, traveling, meeting in the city or improving personal safety on the go.

My GPS Location shows you the best available position based on location data from all current providers such as GPS, mobile networks and Wi-Fi. The app is designed for activities that require reliable real-time GPS coordinates, such as geocaching, hiking, sailing or cycling. It also provides precise coordinates and altitude data for astronomy and astrophotography, helping you align telescopes and cameras accurately.

The app is organized into three tabs:

The Overview tab displays detailed real-time sensor data, including latitude and longitude, altitude, accuracy, speed and movement direction. You can switch between coordinate formats such as decimal degrees, degrees minutes seconds and UTM. Altitude can be shown in meters or feet, and speed in m/s, ft/s, km/h, mph or knots.

In the Map view you can explore your surroundings and relocate your saved places, such as a beach from your last trip, the mooring of a boat or the parking spot of your car. A long press on the map adds new places, and existing places can be moved by dragging them to a new position. The app supports common map types, including street maps and satellite imagery.

The Places tab allows you to manage your favorite locations. You can save, edit and delete places and see the distance to your current position. This is particularly useful when traveling, for example to check how far it is to your accommodation or to a meeting point. Distances are calculated precisely based on the WGS84 ellipsoid.

With the live location feature you can share your position in real time. You start a live session, send the link to friends and they see your movement instantly on a modern map interface. No app installation is required to view your location. Your data is transmitted securely and you decide at any time when the sharing ends.

Share and save your location
From anywhere in the app you can share your current position via messenger, email or other apps. Your contacts receive your coordinates and a link to Google Maps. In emergencies you can even send your location by SMS if no internet connection is available. You can also copy GPS coordinates to the clipboard and paste them into map apps, chats or emails.
