Unitech OEMConfig is an application that enables EMM solutions to have zero-day support for making changes to the unitech-specific device management policy settings.
On unitech device models that support OEMConfig, unitech-specific device management policy settings are exposed via the Google managed play APIs to those compatible EMM solutions that also support the OEMConfig standard.
The compatible EMM solutions then can have zero-day support to:
- Show all the unitech-specific configurable items for a particular unitech device model,
- The EMM users can then make changes those listed unitech-specific configurable items, and then send those configuration changes to the OEMConfig app installed on the unitech devices for processing.
When a new configuration item is made available to support on unitech devices, please update your OEMConfig app on your devices, then your compatible EMM solution should also be able to instantly support the configuration of that new configuration.
