It is specifically designed to tackle the unique challenges posed by shared device models, ensuring user recognition without storing any personal information on the device or in the cloud. It provides a hassle-free setup for individual users and integrates smoothly into shared environments without compromising security. The software implements multiple layers of protection to safeguard employees' personal data. In shared device models, user data is encrypted securely within a personally managed barcode. Meanwhile, in personally assigned devices, data protection is handled within the Android framework. Identity Guardian integrates with IdPs (Identity Providers) to simplify application authentication using Single Sign On.

With Guadian Safe, users can now securely store Usernames and Passwords for Applications or Websites. Guardian Safe uses the Android Accessibility Service to detect and read Usernames for Applications or Websites and will prompt device users if they would like their credentials to be saved for use in future. Data associated with Guardian Safe is stored in Zebra’s encrypted customer cloud environment.
This functionality enables the autofill of stored credentials when Applications or Websites are launched, simplifying the users sign-in experience. Identity Guardian does not make any attempt to control the device screen beyond text entry of credentials.
This is an optional feature that can be enabled through Application Configuration.
