As others have mentioned, it is somewhat underwhelming and has less functionality than the previous app. The changeover between apps worked well for me, and the response times are ok. Fingerprint recognition is a good addition, but I don't like on logging out it takes me straight back to asking for a fingerprint. Auto-locking of the app should be made a priority. Otherwise, it looks ok and if simple to navigate (mainly due to there being so few functions).

This app was put out recently to replace an older version. However, it is barely functional - it crashes my phone nearly every time I try and open it, which is worrying when I'm trying to make a secure payment. They have also done away with the quick balance feature, which means checking my account has gone from a two second job to a two minute one, where I can expect my phone to crash at least once. I would have stuck to the old one if that had been an option.

If you still experiencing this issues, please call us on 0345 6006161 and we will do our best to help. We removed fast balance as we improved the login response time. Thank you for your feedback.

Update: no functionality improvements in the past year, and the bank seem to reply to people making similar comments saying it's a "new chapter" or something. It's not new, it was forced on them and doesn't appear to be being developed. The transfer of settings and accounts was seamless. Functionality is highly limited and it has all the smartness and design of an A-level student's project. Not even branded so you would be excused for thinking this looked fraudulent (which it isn't).
