Ratings and reviews

They broke the UI. You used to connect with one button press and move on with your life. Now, once you connect, there's an annoying pop-up you have to get rid of it before continuing with the app's other features. Also, I loved the old, small widget. I could tuck it away in the corner of my home screen and tell at a glance if/where I was connected, and (dis)connect from there. The new one takes up too much space to be useful, and the visible part doesn't even fill out the space the widget uses.

Update: well, in addition to still constantly changing where you're connected to without notifying you, it also still silently connects you to other countries without asking. Not viable as a reliable VPN until they can make it behave consistently, and until they fix kill switch. I've had this VPN for most of a year, and the android app has never worked properly. Desktop is generally fine. But I can't recommend paying for something that has literally never worked right, across multiple phones.

It is pretty much unusable. The price is not bad, but when you access through SurfShark VPN, there is a very high chance you will be blocked by the websites you are try to access, including Amazon, etc. Speed is not great either. There are other better, more stable, cheaper options.
