About this game

Firefight is a World War II real-time simulation game with more AI and attention to detail than any other game in its genre to date. Tanks are modelled with a physics engine and have gears, rev counters and speedos, and steer themselves with brake levers to give them realistic looking tracked vehicle movement. Each bullet, shell or piece of shrapnel is modelled in 3D and ricochets realistically off sloping surfaces. You can see each infantryman's rank, name, weapon, ammunition remaining, heart rate and fatigue levels. Machine gunners will call for ammunition when they're running low and other squad members will rush over with spare ammo if they are carrying any. Wounded men call for medics who will sprint over to administer first aid. Off-board artillery can be called in but will have to fire several ranging shots before the full 8 gun battery opens fire simultaneously.

I really, really like the concept and controls of this game! I would appreciate it, however, if units were more accurate (both enemy and friendly). Infantry took 1-3 shots to kill (I watched a German take 7 bursts of MG fire from a tank (yes, each burst produced blood splatter)). Units stop firing if they lose sight of an enemy for too long (right now they mag dump the last known position). Conceales units stay concealed with minimum bar length. Finally, if buildings were destructible by tanks.

It's a must have, If you are a fan of in depth, realistic, and historically accurate RTS games, this is one of the best mobile has to offer. Frequent updates, amazing mods, and endless replayability. It adds up a bit when you buy the additional front packs, but it's totally worth it to me. 5/5 great game 👍.

I enjoy it and it's constantly improving. I'd really like it see either some more maps for the east and west front or maybe a few from the pacific since the Japanese and US are in it. Over all a good game though. Play it constantly and have for many years. update. Thank you very much for adding the pacific fronts. I've been wishing for this ever since I'd seen the Japanese were added. still play constantly and very excited for the new maps
