I absolutely enjoyed reading this marvelous, suspenseful dragon shifter romance & it is the second book in the series “Broken Souls” There are some characters crossovers but this romance can be read as a standalone. The plot is well-written & entertaining with some quirky moments. The characters are quite unique & somewhat strong-willed; they display realistic emotional feelings while coming to terms with some unexpected situations. It is about: a young woman (Cinder) wakes up in a hospital bed with a two week memory loss & promptly makes an attempt to run when an unusual man (Aleksandr aka Aleks) starts talking about mythological beings & soul mates. Cinder’s very worried sister (Ember). Ember’s mate & caring friend (Niko) There is: dragon shifters, dragon spirits, dark elves, witches, humans, twists & turns, intrigue, suspense, some humor, secrets, mystery, birthmarks, adventure, action, danger, threats, enemies, regrets, confrontations, verbal conflict, disbelief, devastating memories, abuse, anguish, soul mates, a rescue mission, conflict, violence, manipulations, discovery, some steam, contentment, love & a happy ending for this couple. I look forward to the next book in the series with great anticipation.

I have enjoyed this story and i am just going to read the next one ,ihope you enjoy this book as much as I have.
