About this ebook

Are they the hunters…or hell’s hunted?

With the troubling aftermath of Project Demon Hunters’ first investigation still heavy on his mind, Michael Covenant awaits Audrey Barrett’s arrival in Tucson to film the second episode.

Except she never shows up.

Michael's sense of foreboding is confirmed when his psychic gift pinpoints the exact spot outside the airport terminal where her panic and terror have left an indelible impression. Someone has taken her against her will, and it’s anyone’s guess where she is now.

Audrey can’t believe her eyes. Her kidnapper is a demon wearing a dead man’s face — a demon furious that she and Michael closed the portal he’d been using as a direct connection to hell…a demon who’ll stop at nothing to take his revenge.

Like a homing beacon, Audrey’s very soul reaches out for the man who broke her trust but still holds her heart — Michael, who fears that even if he reaches her in time, their fight with this particular demon has only just begun….

Can Audrey and Michael team up with the Winchester brothers? Unbound Spirits is the sequel to Unquiet Souls. The story picks up immediately after the end of the first one and we are on another adventure. Audrey and Michael get caught up in more danger as they deal with the aftermath of their last ghostly encounter. Action packed with drama and romance, this is a good read. This isn’t my cup of tea in terms of Pope’s work and genre, but it is a wonderful story. I recommend this to anyone who is a fan of Supernatural or ghost stories. This is a creepy story that leaves chills running down the spine and goosebumps on your arms. I did receive an ARC.

This is book 2 in the Demon Hunters series and it was a great addition. The story line picks up immediately after Unquiet Souls and is a does a good job of blending the demon hunting with the mundane. The progression of Michael and Audrey’s relationship is well written and believable. I liked how well Christine Pope shows the growth of both main characters and her secondary characters are also fairly well thought out and not just after thoughts….I really wanted to throat punch Colin…he is such a jerk. I appreciate knowing there was going to be a cliffhanger but the scene itself was a surprise and a great lead into book 3. This series is Christine Pope at the top of her game.
