Ratings and reviews

Too far into the series to quit reading it. I like the story and the characters, but it's feeling a little like the Firefly series with dark undertones. I'm not too sure how I feel about that. If George Lucas did a spin-off with Han Solo and the Millennium Falcon it might look and feel the same (secretly I think the spin-off would be better ;) ).

Just not as engaging as the first three books, as such, a much slower read. With all the possibilities after book 3, this seems like a follow-up format similar to enders game and xenocide

This novel is much better than the previous one. The plot meanders a bit, but they're stronger character development and more time story building around the characters interaction with the air alien elements that's around them.

James S. A. Corey is the pen name of Daniel Abraham and Ty Franck. In addition to writing the novels and short stories of The Expanse, they wrote and produced the television series of the same name.
